GAOHOU GAOHOU 2 PCS D20mm Ultrasonic Mist Maker Fogger Water Fountain Ceramic Humidifier

Purchased for a small desktop humidifier that uses a water bottle where the original disc stopped working. Replacement was easy. I've been using it over 5 months now and have noticed that the amount of fog it emits is inconsistent. When I start it, I set the dial to how much fog I want, but after a while the fog will either decrease or increase by a considerable amount even though the dial hasn't been changed. I'm having to just leave the dial set to about medium and refilling the bottle as needed. The dial is on the backside of the unit so refilling is easier than constantly adjusting the dial.

I purchased this when my portable humidifier stopped working. It was my first experience disassembling and troubleshooting a humidifier, but it was far from rocket science. I didn't get to far into it before I realized the issue must be the transducer. A quick Amazon search and I came upon this one. Delivery was quick. After disconnecting the connector from the bad transducer and splicing it onto the new, I closed everything up, plugged it in and voila, my humidifier spring back to life.Unfortunately though, the amount of mist created by this transducer pales in comparison to the original. I'm not sure there's a way to tell the difference between one vs another, as I've searched in vain for any type of rating on these such as watts, etc. Perhaps in the near future I'll continue researching these to find a way to tell the weak ones from the strong, but for now, I'm content with what the humidifier is putting out.

For the price not bad

This is the same frequency as the original, (my other unit read 1.72MHz when hooked to a scope). It is the right size and has been working nonstop for more than five months. It is not a direct swap as it does not come with a connector. I used insulated butt splices to connect the new transducer to the original connector.
