I wrote a bad revue because I could not find the bracket that holds the iPhoneHaving cataracts and two kinds of macular degeneration causes me to miss seeing items. My very profound apologies.Mounted the bracket. Clamped the iPhone and positioned it to take test photos. The clamp is very strong and I figured out how to mount the iPhone with its protective case. Finally found the wee button the Bluetooth shutter device and easily paired it with the iPhone. Now my Parkinson's won't interfere with taking sharp photos. No more frustration with blurry images.The tripod is well built. Though my shaky hands have some difficulty with adjusting the iPhone to the angle desired. I am very pleased with the tripod

First let me start with my "I'm not a paid reviewer by any manufacturer or Amazon.. anything I review it's because I've paid for it myself & it's my own personally experience. I do A LOT of amazon shopping, & my reason for picking certain things are always due to helpful reviews so even though this is time consuming, I want to do the same for others. If you are looking for a very versatile tripod you can use this with your cell phone iPod or anything of that nature and also a regular camera and it is very light and easy for travel I am thrilled with this purchase it also comes with a hands-free shutter so that you can take your pictures with your phone

I was a little concerned because my box was crushed and re-taped so I assume it was a previous return. Inside, however, everything was intact and okay. It took a little while to get it to work on my Android because there were no instructions but after a few turn off/turn on within Bluetooth, I finally got it working. Sometimes it takes the picture with one click, sometimes, I have to click a few times. The product is made of very thin metal that I believe would be very easy to bend and break. I will not be allowing my kids or teens to use this and I will be very careful myself so it doesn't break. I don't think I would use it for anything heavier than a cell phone or maybe a point and shoot camera. I definitely wouldn't use a DSLR camera on it for fear of dropping it! It was cheap and I guess it's worth the price but I don't expect this to last very long.

The tripod arrived on time.....that's it..!!Some of the reasons I dislike this tripod are as follows:......Extremely light weight.......The top assembly was loose and wobbly, when I handled it to see where the problem was, the assembly fell off into my hand. To use the tripod even semi-properly, the assembly had to be glued back into place.......The particular 'piece' that holds the iPhone in place on the tripod only allows for one way with which to attach the iPhone, so that when attached, the holding piece obscures the view on the iPhone screen! As well, as described, this is for the iPhone in the horizontal position. I did not see any way with which to attach the iPhone vertically.......Generally, and specifically, the tripod feels like a cheap, flimsy, little piece of crap when attempting to use it. Ultimately I gave up on using the thing, and have moved on to other means of holding the iPhone in place.......I would not recommend this tripod to my enemy!

I bought this tripod because I am into mobile photography and travel quite a lot. Just like what the description says, it is very light, easy to carry, and firm enough to handle my 5.5" OnePlus One Android phone (see photo). It also comes with a pouch and a remote, which makes it so handy to take selfies or time lapse pictures.

It's alright for the price. Works, fits our phones and does the job. It's not great quality but I didn't expect it to be top notch for the price. Button is compatible with Samsung galaxy. My major problem is getting the holder open to put phone in, it's kinda tough. Also it's the easiest to get positioned exactly where you want.If you are looking for something to use on a more regular basis, I suggest spending a little more for something with better quality. But this was mainly for my 9 ur old to start using and occasion I want all of us in photo.I do think I will be purchases another, better quality one for more frequent use.

So my initial review was 5 stars. This thing works Great and is very portable. However I bought it 3 months ago and it's already broken. My husband managed to fix it once but it broke again. The part that hold the camera detached from the entire tripod piece. Very disappointing as I used this very frequently.

The 3 stars are because the stand was alright (light weight, but short), the phone holder was alright (fit my phone, but not my friends), and the remote was useless. Neither my friend nor I could get it to work on ours phone (different brands, different operating systems). So it's being returned for better equipment.
