Yeah it got hot, too hot...
It was inexpensive, and what should you expect from something so cheep?When I first turned it on and let it heat up, a little smoke came out of it.I figured it was probably oil or something from the factory burning off.I lowered the temp to 50% within 20 min of it being on the plastic shaft of the temp controlpotentiometer melted. Not good.

Not bad
It's big a bad pot for small jobs. The temp knob is a little wobbly but it seams to just be the way it's made. All in all worth the price
