Holy Corpse Rising Vol. 2

Better than volume 1. The art continues to be very good, and is some of the best art that I've seen in a manga. Their isn't much fan service in the book with the exception of one section. The writing is at the same level as volume one. Their is a tease about Nikola's past but other than that their isn't much character or world building. You do learn where the witches are coming from though. As in the last volume the banter between Nikola and the witches is fantastic. If you read and enjoyed volume 1 I would definitely recommend this volume.

So far I'm really enjoying this series, it's kind of a new spin on the haram genre of manga and has a good story to go with it.

Wow this is getting better and better

I have always loved the idea of witches. This book's story may be kind of straightforward, but the magic system is very interesting and unique.
