I bought this mainly for sail repairs and other odd sewing jobs on my boat. It has proved itself very useful for all sorts of other jobs as well. I have even used it with success repairing an old pair of deck shoes. It is only when you have one that you wonder how you managed without out it before. Highly recommended.

As I've seen noted in other reviews, the item I received didn't function properly. The cap couldn't be tightened to secure the needles in place. I'm sure it would work well with just a little more attention to quality control - a good concept but the best I can say about the particular unit I received was that returning it was a quick and pain free process.

This item was faulty, The head had a different thread to the body so the needle was not held in place.

When closing the cap, the thread is cut.After closing the cap several times, it gets "stripped"

The media could not be loaded.  Mal acabado! A primeira foto mostra uma bobina de metal, mas na verdade é de plástico como na segunda. Usamos somente uma vez, e nem conseguimos fazer o serviço. Ela é mal acabada por dentro, e o fio enrosca no metal e se desfia. Depois de tentar costurar, a agulha simplesmente não prendeu mais, ou seja não tenho como usa-la mais. Infelizmente demorei demais para usar e agora não posso devolver.. dinheiro perdido!

Habe den schnell Näher bestellt um die Sohlen meiner Filzpantoffeln zu tauschen. Eine war komplett durch gelatscht.Die Handnähmaschine beschleunigt den Vorgang, wäre es mit einem Ahl und einer Häkelnadel auch gegangen, jap. Aber langsamer und nerviger.Die beigelegt Beschreibung zeigt auch eine stabile Naht und ist auch sehr sehr einfach in der Durchführung.Für jeden etwas der hin und wieder kleine Reparaturen hat wo keine Nähmaschine hinkommt, man keine hat oder es für eine Nähmaschine zu dickes Material wäre.
