There are loads of reviews on this on popular video platforms. And it is as good as it gets in my opinion. The layout and usability is really good, much easier than other units I have used. The bank of 4 presets just goes up and down with one button, and on each bank there are 4 options. You can access the tuner with one press, and the tuner is exceptionally good. It is well built and feels solid. The expression pedal could do with being a bit bigger and allowing more range of movement, but that's just being picky.When you plug it in to a PC it is much easier to create and download pre-sets. I've not done much of that yet, as I'm just playing Metal with a pre-loaded setting which sounds really good. I also do not know how it would work as an Audio Interface, because I have a Focusrite Scarlett for that and don't want to change any of my setup, but my guess would be it would work really well.

I’ve been looking for something for a while to help get great tone when recording that doesn’t invite lawsuits from my neighbours.Amping up a guitar to record isn’t practical living in a terrace house.I’ve looked at a few tube preamps and things as I really just want to use my existing set of boss/ehx etc pedals but also want a warm amp sound straight into my DAW for recording.I have an old school line6 pod and many other tools I have used in the past but this beats them all so far.As I said in the title this is also great for live work. You can use a cab and send the amped signal straight to that and from the XLR outputs go amped and cabbed straight to the PA desk.I haven’t sent it to a full club PA yet but I have plugged it into my orange amp and amp less cabinet and both sound incredible.I have managed to create a few key clean and effected tones so far that I am very happy with but this thing comes loaded with a number of solid sounds.Amp simulation is great.I initially had to google a few things I couldn’t figure out. Like switching between effects while using the looper - in the looper options switch from pre to post.Another thing was figuring out A/B switching on the expression pedal - just recalibrate and then pushing full forward worked.I’ve been recording chunks of guitar here and there and everything so for sounds great on playback.Very impressive pedal overall. Especially for the price.

I'm blown away by its sound and versatility. Build quality is also rock solid.But setting it up on PC is a little bit difficult, not much info in manual or anywhere. You'd need ASIO driver (can be downloaded from Valeton website) to be able to use it as sound input device for Windows, and your GP-200 software version should match device firmware version (could be found in settings in global menu), otherwise it wouldn't load on PC.

Fantastic range of tones and features. Very easy to program and edit when plugged into a laptop, but my only gripe is that it is a bit more fiddly to program directly on the peddle. It's possible, but if when it at a gig and you don't have a laptop, but you want to program a bank of sounds, a 2 mins laptop edit could take 10-15min on the peddle.I really haven't explored it to it's fullest yet to be fair though, I mostly just use dirty channels and reverb, with a tiny bit of modulation. I'm pretty sure it does much more than I use it for.I've only briefly tried recording directly with it, and this is where the amp modelling is very impressive! Just recording at home, I can now get a ton of different amp tones that I could never afford it physically fit in my house! And they all sound great too.I used to hate the early days of amp models sounds, but my word they've made huge progress in the last 20 or so years.

Brilliant processor.Easy to use straight out of the box.Bought for gigging as I was fed up lugging a pedalboard around.Took me about 2 hours to set up all of the patches I needed for gigs with the software on my PC.Sounds amazing. Very happy

For the price of this pedal it is fantastic. There are some amazing sounds on here, there are also metal distortion sounds which aren't my bag. I have had since April last year and am still struggling, only due to the fact having time between gigs to use it.Because I run through a PA system it's hard to mix when going from clean to distortion and getting the balance right.It is very much endorsed by andertons music as well. There are also Facebook pages to help for those that use them.

Nice sounds effect

First unit I had the save button stopped working so returned it. Second unit was better, it’s a really good product for the price and you can get some decent sounds out of it. I found the software looked a bit cheap but it gives you the extra ease of not having to navigate through the hardware.It’s as good as some other modellers I’ve had that are £200-300 more expensive so would recommend this as a beginner/intermediate product for someone who wants to start using modellers.

Soy usuario de helix line6 y he comprado la pedalera para una orquesta. En cuanto al sonido no encuentro tanta diferencia con la helix, al menos no encuentro esos 1100 euros de diferencia. Sobre todo cargando irs, nada mal; cumple. El "problema" es su simpleza ya que solo puedes cargar un efecto de cada tipo, si necesitas un boost y un od estás apañado, lo solucionas haciendo diferentes presest con el amp mas saturado pero no es lo ideal, hecho en falta poder usar cadenas algo mas elaboradas y los snapshots. Su sistema stomp esta bien pero limitado al usar un solo pedal de cada tipo por preset. Los moods fx por cierto tipo chorus, flangers son justitos/malos. Por otra parte el controlar el amp con perillas es BUENISIMO, asi que la simpleza de una parte se compensa en otra. El sonido de los amps con irs de fabrica son mas que decentes y con tus irs ya no tiene nada que envidiar al sonido de las grandes por su precio. Otra cosa a destacar es el cargador... parece de juguete y parece que durará poco. Conclusión; ¿buen equipo? Si, pero limitado. Y para concluir... entra en la maleta de la guitarra (quizás como backup genial)

trsè satisfait de cet effet guitar/bass. oui, nombre d'effets préprogrammés ne seront jamais utilisés, mais les possibilités d'édition d'effets personnalisés et impressionnante et très simple à utiliser (encore plus à partir du logiciel installé sur un ordinateur (qui rend la manip' plus ergonomique). la connectique offre quasi toutes les possibilités, c'est génial!je recommande ++

The tones are clear, dynamic, and very usable for a variety of styles. However, when it comes to high-gain tones, it does fall short, especially at high volumes. I had to return mine because I needed a backup for my Fractal AX8, and while the unit performs well in many areas, the high-gain sounds were fizzy, and despite my best efforts, I couldn't dial it out, even using the global EQ. But to be fair, this is to be expected considering the price difference between this and more expensive units like the Fractal gear.The effects are good, though not quite studio-quality. Still, they are certainly usable and will satisfy most players who aren’t looking for perfection. Another highlight is the free editor software, which is intuitive, easy to use, and allows for extensive customization of your sounds. The build quality is also solid, with all of the controls feeling sturdy and user-friendly.In conclusion, while this unit may not be suitable for those seeking top-tier high-gain tones, it’s a great choice for aspiring guitar players who need a versatile processor on a budget. If you are making a decision to buy this over other multi effects, stop and buy it.The sound is excellent, the effects, cabins, heads... everything sounds amazing and it's very easy to setup, for the price you are paying, it's overkill, it has plenty of IO, it's super customizable, and with the latest update, they added overdrive effects on the pre, so now you can chain OD and DS, which is amazing.Cons? sure, there are some, the time it takes to change between presets is quite annoying, but almost every other multi effects has it so, I don't know if I would consider that a con, the wah effects are hard to set up, but they end up sounding good if you spend a decent amount of time setting them up, this one is just me being picky, but it would be super nice to be able to turn off the OD/DS on the high gain heads, It would give it so much more dept to customization...The software to customize it is super intuitive and super easy to learn, it's super easy to set the pedal to your liking.It's been a while since it was released, and they are still adding updates, new effects, presets, and stuff to make it more awesome.I just love it, I play with it at home, live, in rehearsals, and I've never had a single issue with it, it's a lot of fun.To end this review, there's a lot of resources on YouTube to learn how to set it up properly, with little tweaks you can make to make it sound great on most use cases, that's a super plus.anyway, I just like it a lot, hope you do as well if you buy it :P!
