Tektro Linear Pull Mountain Bicycle Brake - M530

Installation was super easy with a 5mm allen/hex wrench. I would recommend using it in a ratchet to make the work quicker. final adjustment took a bit longer but was not difficult and if you've don't it before it should not be a problem. I put this on a lower price older Schwinn with a mildly warped rim. After some trial and error, I can comfortable and confidently brake, slow, and stop going down a steep hill. Materials are quality and are built solid. This should last as long as the OE brake and give many miles of safe riding.

Felt sturdier and more robust than the stock no-name brakes on my wife's bike. Everything was included in the retail packaging. You can't go wrong here.

Newer model works perfect on a Diamondback Sorrento, better than the original. Definitely would recommend for a replacement.

This brake is powerful and cheap. What else do you need for $11? I use it on my loaded touring bike without complaint. One thing to note is that the pads it comes with are for mountain bike rims. They were too wide for my 700c rims. I had to use the pads from the cantilever brakes I was replacing. These brakes still offer more power and modulation than my cantis did.

I banged up my last brake and so I replaced it with this model. It works and was easy to install.

Seems to be working well. I installed this as an upgrade from a cantilever brake. The installation was not too difficult and the brake is significantly stronger.

Light weight and good quality. Is a little small on my friends Trek but works great.

Good brake for replacement if needed. Replaced the brake on a on older trek 4900 with this.

Well boxed and presented. Decent instructions to follow and all parts that are needed are included eg, 2 different length bolts for each side, cable guide, brake blocks etc. Not cheap but very happy with the quality and the purchase. They are for stopping the bike after all!

Super Optik, bremsen echt klasse.. da ich nicht so geübt bin und es für mich das erste Mal war hat es etwas gedauert bis ich es hinbekommen hatte.. jetzt verstehe ich auch andere Rezensionen wegen den Flexschläuchen.. mit den starren macht es sich etwas doof aber habe es jetzt vernünftig hinbekommen und bin so super zufrieden.. die Bremswirkung ist der absoluter Hammer im Vergleich zu den alten Bremsen.. würde ich wieder kaufen..

Wenn man bedenkt, dass man für ganz primitive Felgenbremsen, wie beispielsweise Profex oder Alhonga auch schon 10 Euro zahlt, ist der Gegenwert hier deutlich höher.Die Bremsen wirken qualitativ echt hochwertig, die Montage war einfach und die Bremswirkung ist sehr gut, mit den passenden Bremsgriffen von Tektro.Zu bemerken ist noch, dass die benötigten Zubehörteile, wie die Befestigungsschrauben, Bremsbögen und Gummischutz dabei sind.Allerdings verwende ich lieber die flexiblen Bremsbögen von XLC, die rostfrei sind.Hier kann man den Zug in geradem Zustand durchfädeln, die Gefahr, dass er dabei "aufräppelt" ist viel geringer, als bei den starren Bögen.

li ho presi perchè necessitavo di sostituire un freno analogo marca Logan. anche se la spesa mi è stata rimborsata da terzi, ci tenevo comunque a segnalere che il prezzo mi sembra un po' eccessivo, forse perchè stanno diventando merce sempre più rara.

Die Bremsarme sind gut, schnell montiert und funktionieren bestens. Ich hatte Tektro bisher nicht auf dem Schirm, aber es ist durchaus eine Alternative zu Shimano, welche ich zuvor am Rad hatte.

Für den Preis ist das eine gute Bremse. Mir war vor allem die Einstellung der Rückstellfeder wichtig und das ist hier alles aus Metall und nicht Kunststoff - Kunststoff wird spröde und hält dann die Federspannung nicht mehr aus, und bei anderen Modellen bricht das dann auch gerne.
