Great photographic bulbs
Great bulbs, but not floor bulbs for me because I take them as photographic bulbs.Last month, when I had bought a set of photographic studio equipment, I found the bulbs are not good for a studio because they illuminate everything so I can't control the lighting effects and the color of reflected light. I thought it over and over and I found floor bulbs are the best choice for replacing the original bulbs because they can focus and only illuminate forward. I tried one and it worked very well, so I decided to buy some for all of my photographic lamp holders. These bulbs' light appearance is 3000K warm and not 2700k warm which is good for the built-in white balance in my camera, but I can reset my camera to fit it easily. In addition, their appearance will make objects a bit bright than 2700k's bulbs, so it is no problems even I don't change my camera setting.By the way, the price is so affordable and the bulbs have more equivalent lumens than others which have the same at most 4.1 inches' diameter. All of them are what I need.

Dimmer switches and LED lights.
We bought these bulbs to replace 8 75 watt bulbs in our bedroom ceiling all on a dimmer circuit. The good news and why they are rated as a 5. They perfectly matched the old incandescent bulbs regarding light quality. Indistinguishable. Now comes a serious problem that the makers of dimmer switches need to address. The lights are controlled by two switches, one by the door and one by the bed. When we flip either switch off, there remains a soft, flicking glow from the bulbs (very annoying at night) and if we push the slide to minimum we get the soft glow with only rare flickering, but still annoying, As we have now read, there is phantom power in the circuit that doesn't show up with the incandescent bulbs; their filaments don't heat up enough to glow. With the LEDs that power is enough to generate some light. Our choice is to leave one incandescent bulb in the mix which prevents the glow, but also uses as much power as the remaining 7 LEDs or just go with an on/off switch. Who knew that those dimmer switches are wasting significant amounts of power. Note: when we first noticed the glow we thought is was due to the 6 year old dimmer switch so we bought a new, LED specific dimmer switch and it was the same as the old switch.

Good Bulbs But 2 of 12 are Faulty
I bought 3 boxes of these bulbs for a total of 12 bulbs to replace bulbs in my living room and kitchen. I like everything about the bulbs (good brightness, good balance between warm white and cool white). However 2 of the bulbs have died on me. One of the bulbs seems to be leaking some kind of oil (I can see in on the inside of the bulb). Unfortunately the return period is over and now I have to buy another box.

Easy Update for Old Recessed Light
My house has old light fixtures. I have replaced or am in the process of replacing all of them but one; the recessed light above the kitchen sink. Rather than purchasing an adapter to turn it into a J-box (and then have to also purchase a fixture) or using one of the pendants that screws into the bulb receptacle, I opted for one of these bulbs. The opening in the can is 4" so this bulb almost completely fills that space. It also extends just below the bottom of the trim ring giving it a finished appearance instead of being a dark hole with a bulb in it. Another plus is that it is 4000K, the only brightness I purchase in LED bulbs due to its neutral light (not yellow like soft white or blue like daylight). Since the package contained 4 I'm going to put one in the exposed ceramic bulb-holder fixture in my garage in front of washer and dryer. I don't need any more of this particular bulb, but I am very happy with how it turned out in the kitchen and the amount of light it will provide in my laundry space (vs the current warm white 60w LED bulb).

Boy - I am sure glad I did
We recently installed a new Lutron C-L Diva 150 dimmer switch, which control 6 BR30 recessed can lights. The first bulbs we got were the SUNCO BR30 LED 11WATT (65W Equivalent), 3000K Warm White, DIMMABLE, Indoor/Outdoor Flood Lights, and they buzzed quite a bit, especially at about 40-70%. Those even buzzed a little on full. So, I reluctantly bought this brand to try them out. Boy - I am sure glad I did. I replaced the Sunco Bulbs with these Maxxima LED BR30 75 Equivalent Dimmables, and things are now very quite. If you get really close to the bulb, you can hear ever so slightly a buzz, but once you get even a foot or so away, the noise of these bulbs is less than any typical home environment. They do not make any buzzing sound as you change the dim level on the Lutron switch what-so-ever. Now, one has to realize, that finding a LED bulb that is nearly silent to a specific dimmer is a challenge.Far as light quality, I would rate them a 4 out of a 5 in reality. They do measure extremely close to 3000K, so that is good. I don't like 2700K, as it makes interiors a little too yellowish orange for me tastes, so having these be darn near 3000K is great, as I prefer 3000-3200K for interior lighting. 3000K is the perfect balance of having a slightly truer white, yet slightly warm light for a comfortable interior. I highly recommend it.These bulbs don't quite bring colors to life as vibrantly as some of the other LED bulbs I have purchased; but, these bulbs are rated for a CRI level of 80, and I would say that is accurate. (Some of the other LED bulbs I have are at 90 or 95, and comparatively, you can tell the difference.)Overall, I think these are a very good purchase. I have only had mine for just over a week and a half as I write this review. If things change, I will most certainly mention it, as I have a hunch others out there will be trying to find a "quiet" LED BR30 that will work for a particular dimmer.

Perks up dim rooms
These make a notable difference as compared with 60 watt equivalent BR30's. I changed out the 60's in our kitchen with these and it made the whole room look cheerier.

The bulbs are great....packing was not. One side of the soft box was smashed in but the bulbs were all okay.

No flickering on dimmer
Very happy with these, the color temp is good. They also work great on the Lutron dimmer, no flickering and dim very low. Thumbs up

lasted 2.5 years
bought in june 2020. now it is march 2023 and they died. hoever, never started buzzing. theoretically LED's are supposed to last for a lot longer. but i have never bought any that seemed to last longer than two years. So not sure if they are worth the $ vs incandescent. but maybe.
