I took a huge risk.... I don't buy pillows without putting my hands on them. I bought 4 of them.... Huge risk. I am soooooo glad I did! I love them! And no one has complained about them. They really are suited for all sleeping positions. I really like that you can wash and dry them. I haven't done this yet but I will update once I do. They aren't firm but they aren't so soft that there's no support. They are adjustable. So you can remove the filling until it suits you. I didn't have to do this either.Highly recommend these pillows! I will be purchasing more when it's time to replace them.Update 10/6/17-I have purchased another one for my son's new full size bed. He already had one but needed a second for the new bed. Still loving these pillows. Everyone is very happy with them. For the price.... An absolutely wonderful pillow! I can't believe they aren't more expensive!Update again.... 2/4/19So bought the king size pillow. It is different than the queen. It didn't fluff up quite as much. Just wanted to warn those expecting a huge fluffy king size pillow. It works for me, but it may not for some others. I just purchased another king size. If you do purchase it, definitely throw it in the dryer as they recommend. It will help. I continue to be a happy customer!

This is a beautiful, exceptionally well-made pillow that is everything the description states. The filling is soft and luxurious, but also firm, and it's so nice to be able to remove some to adjust it to more or less firm. It holds its shape, which is unusual and a rare treat, and fluffs up so nicely. And while it holds its shape, it still has a lot of 'give' to it so it's not like laying your head on a brick, like some pillows I've bought! It's soft enough to feel comfy and cozy, and firm enough to support your head and neck properly. I haven't needed to wash it yet so I can't report on that, but I'm sure it will wash and dry perfectly. The cover is also exceptional, and is the most wonderful I've ever slept on! This is a very good buy, and I'm quite happy with my purchase.

I ordered several types of pillows as I was switching from down/feather and needed to do a little investigating on which would be right for me as there are so many options. This was the first one I received and I genuinely liked it until the Beckham Hotel Gell Pillows arrived. I got a set of 2 of those for almost the same price as this single pillow. It is superior quality, soft and comfy; however, I preferred the other and am returning this. There was no smell. Perhaps, I preferred the hotel style a lot more because I travel a lot and generally order the bedding brand of the hotel I prefer so there is continuity no matter where I sleep.

First, this is not a flat pillow out if the box. Having read the reviews before purchase, I knew that. Unzipped it and started removing stuffing. LOTS of stuffing!! Then removed MORE stuffing! lol. Ok, so I basicly removed enough stuffing that it almost filled the poly bag the damn thing had arrived wrapped in. It was still not a flat pillow but I had hope on my side. I don't have any health issues where I need a flat pillow, I just cant sleep comfortably with my neck propped up. I've been known to use hotel towels folded under my head when I travel instead of the medieval torture device's known as a hotel pillow. All that said, I tried this one with 2/3s stuffing removed the first night and was very tempted to call it a loss. Then when I woke up the next morning the strangest thing had happened overnight.. It had flattened in my slumber to be PERFECT!! Not a joke. The next night instead of feeling the poofieness upon laying down that had frustrated me the night before, I was excited to find it was comfortable. More comfortable then my previous 20 year old, Linus from peanuts like, irreplaceable one. Holy F!! So the moral of the story is sometimes, hope wins. If you are looking high and low for a pillow to replace the one that looks like the cat peed on and you know its probably filled with decades of snot and drool but you cant fathom anything ever being just right again. Buy this one.

I must confess, this person is one of those people that takes HIS pillow along on anything that means I have to sleep overnight, or for a week in someplace other than my own bed at home, the pillows at hotels or at the home of a friend, etc., just don't 'cut' it. It would be best if I hauled my OWN BED along on trips, but hey, I'm not completely crazy yet, my own pillow will have to do. I finally 'retired' the pillow that I've used the past 25 or 30 years...like losing a child, it was a sad and frightening event...unable to toss my old friend in the trash, my cat now has a new place to sleep, he looks happy on old faithful, so I'm happy as well. That said, I embarked on a tedious search for 'just the right' pillow, trust me, I 'interviewed' replacements from near and far, and thankfully St. Waldo, the Patron Saint of Pillows heard my prayers, probably felt sorry for me because I am an old man that needs good sleep, and sent me to the BBADP...and ended my apprehensive search, thank God! This pillow made the 'cut', and once again, Grandad sleeps in peace and comfort. I won't belabor the point further, if you get my drift, then this explanation will have to suffice. All that I can say is this may be the most comfortable pillow that has had the pleasure of supporting the brainbox this 72 year old fellow. The Quest is over, you, who reads this, may the blessings of the Perfect Pillow find your Skull , and end the agony of the 'mushy' motel's crappy excuse for a place to rest one's weary head. This pillow is extremely well constructed with an outer washable bamboo-fiber shell and an inner polyester shell overstuffed with polyester fibers. I found the pillow to be too firm for my taste and removed around 30% of the fill. Not only is it extremely over stuffed it is also over-sized and will not fit any of the standard pillow cases that I own. I can force it into the case, but it sticks out at one end and is so tight that it restricts the movement of filling and isn't comfortable. I had to purchase a king size pillow case. Because it is so large and firm I use it as supplement to my backrest and not as a sleeper.
