Terrific
Our beginner reader really embraced these books, and it helped with his reading. I made word cards to help his learning

I like to challenge my son and push him to do/learn ...
Bought the 1st set of Biscuit books at Barnes and Noble about a while ago and paid more then I thought necessary for those sized books. So I began to look on Amazon and found a greater variety of books at competitive prices. My son is 4 and had mastered the 1st set of Biscuit books(short vowels) rather quickly so I got the Biscuit MORE books(long vowels).I was hesitant because the reviews I was reading said they were much harder then the 1st set and a waist of money. However, I like to challenge my son and push him to do/learn more. I figured if he wasn't ready for them just yet he would be soon and there would be no money lost. The books are harder in a since of the rules of long and short vowel sounds are different. But in just 2 weeks my son is starting to pick up on the clues of what makes is long or short and he knows how to say them.Every night before bed I have him read 1 Biscuit and 1 Biscuit MORE book so he can keep practicing both long and short at the same time. He is picking up on it more and more as we go and I will continue this process until he has mastered them all.

Recommended for early readers!
Fantastic early reader set! My child enjoys learning to read with her favorite Paw Patrol characters. The books are well-structured with progressive difficulty and colorful illustrations. Ideal for preschoolers and kindergartners. As a parent, I appreciate the blend of fun and foundational literacy skills.

Fun books for children to practice phonics
I got these several years ago for my class along with some other comic I can read books. The children found them really exciting and they got some of the more reluctant readers excited about reading. They were nice that they also linked up with the phonics I was teaching in class.
