Not a high bar but much better than iTunes...
Anything that allows you to bypass iTunes pretty much gets 5 stars from the get go. All most of us care about are the photos and videos on our phones, so the ability to get them off the phone and put them WHERE I WANT TO PUT THEM made me VERY excited about this product! I think I got all of the stuff off my daughter's phone in the end, but the process is what made me have to hesitatingly remove a star from my review.I love that when you plug it in it takes you right to where you need to be to download the app. However, the challenges for me started once I opened the app. I just wasn't sure where to go, despite the description of the app saying "easy to understand". I wish I could clearly tell you how it works - I THINK you first click the icon of the drive, then click the "+" sign, then click what you want to add, then give it permission to access your stuff, then make your selection. But I can't swear to that at all. I clicked several different things before I got going down the right path. It actually kinda makes sense once you figure it out, but I needed it to make sense at the start.I had a lot of photos and videos to get off the phone, and I started off selecting them by sliding down the phone to select rows at a time. After a couple minutes of this, I noticed a circle at the bottom right and hazarded a guess that maybe that was a "select all" kind of thing (wasn't labeled). Turned out it was, so that saved me a lot of time. It started to download immediately when I went to the next step. It seemed to be moving kinda slowly, and it eventually popped up a box that indicated that some of the photos I was trying to download were on iCloud and it gave me options (4, I believe) for downloading the particular photo, downloading all iCloud photos, skipping this photo or skipping all iCloud photos. I wanted to get everything, so I selected "download all iCloud photos". DON'T DO THIS!! This made the download process incredibly slow (like overnight if you slept for 8-10 hours and didn't check until you showered and ate breakfast). I was about an hour into it and had a little over 10% of the files when the download stopped. I am not 100% sure what made it stop - I was trying to dim my screen to save power since I wasn't sure if the phone would make it all the way through the long download time, but suddenly the app was back at the home screen. When I looked on the drive I could see files from different dates on there, but it didn't really seem to be going in any particular order (date or filename). The only option was to start over again. As I restarted (first erasing all the files on the drive), I noticed that it was going faster for some reason, but it soon kicked up the iCloud photos dialog box. This time I said "skip all" (realizing that It's definitely better to just download a zip file of the photos from iCloud.com) and everything went much, much faster.Copying to my computer was standard procedure. I actually don't like USB devices where the connectors slide in and out since it inevitably makes it harder to actually push it into the USB plug without the whole thing sliding back in the shell. I'd personally prefer a one-piece drive with some better grip on the side, but that's just me.GREAT device, slightly lacking on ease of use/clear instructions (there is an instruction manual on the drive, but you have to find it!), I'd get it again now that I know how to use it.

A great versatile USB drive
I will admit, I was skeptical at first. But I was impressed with this USB drive. The write speed is quite acceptable. While I didn't run a speed utility, it did transfer almost 300 2MB photos from my Android phone to the key very quickly. As an IT professional, that is good.I like the fact that it can connect to an iPhone, computer and Android phone natively. Yes, I had to put a micro to type C adapter to deal with my phone, but I need to do that with many non-TypeC devices. That is not a knock against this product. When plugged into an iPhone, it pulled up the app from the app store instantly. I appreciate that I don't have to search an app store and hopefully get the right app. It also allows you to back up your iPhone contacts to it as well. The beauty of this USB key is I can put files on it (with folders single and nested) with my PC, and then plug it into an iPhone and the iPhone will see all the files I stored there. This USB key will be my Christmas gift to my sister as all cookbooks, family photos and videos and directions can be placed onto this USB key. At 256GB, it's more than enough store for my sister's usage. The only drawback to this device is the "drop down" the USB connector does to reveal the micro USB connector. It looks like it could wear out if over used. BUT in my application, the iPhone lighting connector will be used 99% of the time. The remaining 1% would be to connect to a PC.

Handy USB that optimizes storage on iPhone.
This USB was great to use during a busy weekend full of filming short iPhone clips that would have otherwise taken up a lot of space on internal storage. It was a bit confusing to figure out in the beginning but we got it done. Also once I downloaded the app and switched the USB from my friends phone (the phone that was filming) onto my phone, I thought I’d see the content on the app but I didn’t. I only saw the files once I plugged it into my Macbook. Wish I saw them on my phone though. Ended up having to upload the files to shared folder on Dropbox anyways.

Sunany 256 GB Flash Drive - Great Device
Received the Sunany 256GB flash drive in a timely manner & good packaging. Used it to transfer thousands of photos & videos from my IPHONE 13 Pro. Once you download the App & plug in the flash drive it immediately recognizes the drive is plugged into your IPhone. The download of several hundred videos took a while, but completed the copy. Photos( thousands ) in various albums went fairly fast. You then can plug into the USB on your laptop or desktop. Establish a folder or various folders on your computer & copy the files on your screen & paste into the folders of your choice. A little bit of a learning curve but, the device works as advertised & I am very pleased with it. Any flash drive used to copy pics & videos off a cell phone & copy to a computer will involve several steps so this device functions as advertised.

It has a lot of storage
So it’s probably me not doing something right…I tried to upload my pics & even selected ones I did not need to save. Then it asked me something about the cloud & I accidentally hit it. Now it didn’t upload all of my things which I thought this had way more than enough storage on it. I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong I haven’t had an opportunity to get tech advice or troubleshooting. It could very well be me but I think it could be a little more clear on how to set up. I downloaded the app & that was pretty much it. So if your a tech dummy like me this may not be for you.

I love my flash drive
I told my daughter I had over 1000 pictures saved on my phone and I did not have any space to take any new pictures. She ordered this flash drive for me off of Amazon. It was so easy for me to upload all my pictures onto the flash drive and I absolutely love the pink color, I now have room to be able to take more pictures and create more memories with my family members. I am not always savvy with electronics, but it was very easy to upload the pictures. I absolutely love my flash drive.
