Light Bulb Kit (9 Bulbs) for 2003-2005 Honda Pilot EX, EXL Dash Heater Climate Control AC

The hardest part of the process to replace the lamps in the environmental control for my 2004 Pilot was the removing the panels in order to remove the control unit. Having the proper tools to perform the work is the key to performing this procedure. There were a few YouTube videos that went over this process that made the job fairly simple.

Fixed my problem with my recently purchased 2003 Honda Pilot...climate control was dimmed out...all the bulbs were burnt due to the age of the vehicle. YouTube the how to and 15 mins later we have LIGHTS! Highly Recommended!!!

Easier than I thought. I did break one of the bases while getting out the old bulb and had to go to the Honda dealer to get a new one. In replaced the new Honda bulb with the Amazon ones so they would all match.

So these bulbs went into a 2005 Honda Pilot HVAC console. The replacement took about 15 minutes. Google for the video, several out there.Ok so, the Honda Pilot has a total of 9 bulbs. 6 small ones (that light up for the buttons), and three larger ones (for the LCD screen). All of the bulbs light up except one of the larger ones. Contacted the vendor, was very responsive (which was nice) offer refund or send out another set (keeping the first set). I initially asked for another set but, due to logistics, the vendor wasn't able to get my address (not fulfilled by Amazon) so I went the refund amount (and was able to keep the remaining bulbs).I installed 8 of the nine bulbs (one was bad, remember), and kept an original bulb in the center LCD display. Now, again there are videos out there however, the smaller ones were easy (ish) to replace. The larger ones are like stuck in the old socket bases (that you have to re-use on the new bulbs). One of the old bulbs shattered on removal, but socket was fine. Just take your time on all of it.As you "might" be able to see from the final picture, the LCD screen is slightly dimmer on the edges than in the center. That is because I keep one of the originals (the center), and replaced the outer ones with the new set. This I did not catch until all was back into the console, buttoned up, and later that night.The rest of the buttons do not have original bulbs to compare against, and seem to light up fine.NOTE: Make sure to TEST the bulbs after initial install, and before complete re-assembly.All in all, I'm OK with how it turned out. I would of like to had all the large bulbs working, and the same brightness. Would had been even better if the new-bulb brightness was equal to the old bulb brightness but, it all looks fairly consistent. Thus the three stars.

I thought the install would be much harder. Find a video online and follow the directions. Only took 15 minutes to install. Shipped quickly. Now all the dash lights are perfect.
