SEOH Petri Dishes (20/ pk)

Great products, i used it as an art project and it worked as intended.

Lids fit VERY loosely, because the bacteria need to breath. So if you are needing them to snap or screw on, or need them to make a seal, these will not work. The lids just sit over the lower half. They worked for what I needed them for. Just letting you know.

I bought these petri dishes for doing science experiments with my 10 year old son, so nothing too crazy specific. They arrived much earlier than expected and all of them were intact. As others have said, the lids are not tight but that is fine for our purposes. I also wouldn't expect these to survive a trip though the dishwasher, but for this price, should they really?

100mm x 15mm petri dishes. They arrived about a week after purchase in a sleeve of 20 dishes, none of them were cracked or busted. I have used them for mycology (with homemade agar) successfully so they are at least almost sterile if not completely sterile. The price is good enough to not worry about reusing the dishes so I cannot attest to their durability other than they lasted the duration of my experiments.

I used these to make jello bacteria dishes for a Halloween potluck - which was a total win!! Literally - I won the "Most Disgusting Dish" award. Seller "Science Stuff" was quick to ship, and the petri dishes were all in great shape. Sorry scientists - I have no scientific review for you....

These petri dishes are what they advertise to be. The low cost comes from low-quality plastic (one lid was cracked when I received it) but you can't beat the price. They worked fine for what I needed them for. Make sure you realize that these do not come treated with an Agar growth solution, they are just empty dishes.

I just bought a sleeve to use to create cultures of a few different edible mushrooms and to isolate a yeast strain that I use in brewing. I used 10 other Pyrex petri dishes at the same time as a control as well as to have enough dishes for what I was doing. Two days after pouring the agar and all 20 of the plastic dishes have heavy contaminate while the ten Pyrex dishes are perfectly fine. I've been doing this for years and my sterile technique nor my flowhood is not to blame, these petri dishes were taped shut in a previously open bag and had holes all over the bag.These are far from sterile, buyer beware!

I STORE WATCH MOVEMENTS IN THEM. PRICE WAS RIGHT AND VENDER IS ACCURATE AND ON TIME. I HAVE ORDERED SEVERAL LOTS FROM THIS VENDER.
