Hidden Picture Challenge

Three Stars
Good book but some pictures seemed roughly sketched. Kids didn't mind thoufh and was great for road trips.

One Star
Thought this would be challenging, should've looked closer at the information.

Nothing out of the ordinary
Purchased for my four year old who loves hidden pictures. In the grand scheme, its not a bad activity book but not particularly exciting for a little kid

Quality AND Fun!
I purchased these books for my granddaughters (ages 5 and 6) to enjoy during the fall break. When the books arrived, I was surprised by the intensity of the details. I was sure my granddaughters would struggle with the books . . . . was I ever wrong! These books are tremendous educational tools. First, we read the "clue" words together, taking note of the spelling and sounds of the words. Then the hunt begins. Although we work on the pictures together, the girls find several of the pictures right away. With some encouragement (look to the upper left, or under the foot of a character), the hidden picture is found. These books are so cleverly created that there is just the right amount of obvious and not-so-obvious pictures. Hours of fun! I will definitely purchase more from Dover Publications.Tip: for our girls, we discovered Hidden Pictures (Larry Daste) was a bit easier than Hidden Picture Challenge (Stephen Stanley). Regardless, both are excellent.

Fun for Readers
I work with kiddos who have special learning differences and most of whom don't read well. I was a bit bummed to find the things yoy are searching for all listed as just words not pictures. That being said, if you're a reader it's a great book.
