How long will it last on decorative copper roofing?

ProtectaClear is not made for copper roofs. It is made to protect metal items that get a lot of use like copper sinks, countertops or jewelry. ProtectaClear is also great to protect stainless steel or mirror polished metals. Everbrite Coating is made to protect copper like copper roofs, gutters and other architectural metals. It has UV blockers and Anti-Oxidants to protect the copper from tarnish. The copper needs to be completely clean and dry. Four coats of Everbrite will provide long lasting protection and will keep the roof copper color and shine for 5 to 10 years. The roof can be maintained by adding another coat every 5 years or so. Just wash, dry and reapply. We have excellent customer service and technical help available.

can this product be used on stainless steel kitchen sinks?

Yes, ProtectaClear is a great coating for stainless steel sinks. You will only need the EZ Prep neutralizer if you have used acid based polishes. Make sure the stainless to be coated is completely clean and dry before application.

Can I dip silver trays in a shallow pan? Do I need to drain them really well before letting them dry?

Yes, you can dip your silver trays in ProtectaClear. They will need to be hung to let the excess drip off. I suggest hand applying the coating with a applicator pad or a clean white cloth.

does coating protect stainless sink from scratches as well as rust?

Yes, ProtectaClear will help protect sinks from scratches as well as rust. If it did get scratched, it can be fixed by recoating that area. Wash, dry and reapply and it will fix any scratches. Kitchen sinks get more abuse than bathroom sinks but they can be maintained to look great all the time.
