Ambient temp is wrong
Received his BT-866A unit today. I bought this to check the air coming out of my hvac vents. The ambient temp in the room is 24c, but the reading on this unit show 27.8c. I put this on the top of the vent to taking quick reading , but the temp reading didn’t move much. For my second test, I left the unit on top of the vent for 10 min and the temp went down to 26.7c, which if completely inaccurate. If the ambient temp in room is 24c, the air coming out of the vent should be at least 10c lower. And I do have any issues with my central air, but the house is staying cool during the heat wave.Dont know how accurate the cmf and velocity because I don’t have any other device to measure those readings.I will do a couple more tests and will be contacting Amazon to figure out what to do
