Individually knotted beads is a good idea
I'd never seen a mala with the beads individually knotted like this one. Malas with crystal beads tend to have the thread break after a while,when you move the beads a little while counting mantras on them..Because the hole in each bead has an abrasive edge, this wears down the thread .. Of course it can be re-threaded but this mala should prolong that requirement a lot.
