This book is all around fantastic! It has seasonal recipes for every occasion. The instructions are easy to follow. The recipes allow for you to add your own personal touch. There are recipes that are vegetarian friendly. I’m going to be gifting this book a lot! 10/10 recommended

I am so excited about "Around the Board" by Emily Delaney. This is my type of cooking. Emily shows readers how to make quick, easy, and beautiful food boards. She even includes the shopping list and kid friendly suggestions. The book is 190 pages of gorgeous ideas for spring, summer, fall, winter, special occasions and holidays. Each board includes ingredient recommendations, an assembly guide and full color pictures. Additionally, there are suggestions for pairing wine, ale or champagne with your creation.Easter and Mother's Day are coming up. A food board is the perfect solution for fun get-togethers for mothers, grandmother's, aunts and special friends, All the boards are mouth-watering, but as a chocolate lover my personal favorite is the Valentine's Day chocolate boards. Oh my word! I was in heaven just looking at the pages. "Around the Board" will be published March 29th. I've read, cooked, and reviewed A LOT of books about boards and building them. What makes this one stand out particularly is how Emily shows you how to build that board, just the way she has it pictured. I've built a lot of boards/tried to make them pretty like the picture, and sometimes it works out. With her guide, it looks that way every single time. I also like how each season is broken out and includes a pantry for each season. Making "The Boardament" was really fun and one I will do again for Christmas. The snow day fondue board was really fun- we did it on a particularly crummy day and it made it really enjoyable. Ever wonder how they make salami roses and perfect proscuitto crinkles? Look no further. Emily has you covered. This is a very enjoyable book and one that is particularly good for beginners or those looking to have photo worthy boards that they don't have to try to figure out.

It is filled with boards and spreads for every holiday or occasion you could possibly think of, from Christmas to Game Day. Delaney also guides the reader with charcuterie tools, pairings, and displays for each type of board.These spreads all look so delicious and almost like a work of edible art. These boards are not entirely savory either by the way - I'm particularly excited over the Valentine's day and other sweets spreads that feature chocolate fondue!I recommend this to the charcuterie lover or friend who loves to entertain.

As beautiful as it is informative, I loved Emily Delaney’s Around the Board. I really felt like this was equal parts cookbook, with useful information/recipes, and coffee table book, with beautiful photographs of Emily’s creations. For someone who is not domestically inclined, this book is so inspiring — every board in here felt doable (even for the culinary-challenged people like me). I can’t wait to try some of these recipes (beer cheese dip! Goat cheese Buffalo dip!) and do my best to apply Emily’s styling tips whenever I’m hosting. I appreciate Emily’s creativity, willingness to “think outside the box” and fun approach to food.I think this book would make an excellent gift for so many occasions (wedding/engagement, housewarming, Mother’s Day, etc.!) and can’t wait to share it with others in my life.

Beautiful and interesting. Love the sections about beer and wine pairings the whole layout of the book is easy to read and follow.
