Great kit, you save a ton over buying local, works perfect, wiring repairs are a breeze now.

Easy to use and made the job easier overall. Just make sure to heat the solder core enough to melt it to the point it starts to flow and coats the exposed part of the wire. The heat shrink and seals work very well to ensure the splice is sealed and insulated. An extra length of heat shrink tubing can be slid over the splice to provide extra security and a professional look.

A little tricky to use. After a couple of uses it becomes easier to do. Nice solid connection.

These worked for my application. I think the solder joints come out dry. Some silvered up pretty nicely. The shrink tube might melt at those points if you hold it too long. Takes a little finesse. But practice on a couple and you will find a balance. These sure do save time. Worth the price.

The way this product shrinks tight and solders the connection it should be perfect for damp locations. Also I trust it's strength more than a crimp connector. My one concern is the solder is low temp so be careful what you use it on. I recommend LOW voltage only with over current protection. You know, a fuze.

I use these for my boat and vehicle wiring. Super easy to work with and makes the connections hold great. If you want to get even stronger then use them in conjunction with typical black heatshink connectors that go over them and you are waterproof for sure. I have even used them to fix my trolling motor transducer wires that go underwater all day!

I used these connectors for wiring on my boat. I used a typical heat gun and it worked very well. You can actually see the solder melt to fully engage both wires for a solid connection. I highly recommend this kit as it will connect many different gage wires.

It took me just a few trys to get them to work well but if you get a good temp or just the right heat on these they work awesome. Nice waterproof seal.

They work great for our RC cars and trucks.

They are incredible I would recommend these all day every day. I built a trailer and used these for all the wires. I went drove 8 hour of dirt roads and very very bumpy roads. The wires I used these on did not come apart the wires that were from factory on the trailer axles all came apart on my trip. Very good product. I used my delwat heat gun to melt them and like I said nothing has come apart.
