The media could not be loaded.  I cut the flimsy bands off and attached the sturdier clip on ones. The only problem is, I only received 3 of the 4 clips. Other than that, I’ll update about the birds if it works to scare them away.

I like everything about this product from the price to the color to the quality of the plastic. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it did not work. We have an obsessed eastern bluebird at one of our windows. We tried the usual silhouettes and a rubber snake, but it didn't deter this bird. So I bought these. They spin in the wind and swing in the directions the wind blows them. They worked for one day. The bird went to bed at night and when it woke in the morning it went right back to the window and ignored the spinners. I watched as the wind knocked one into the bird and he ignored it. He just stayed at the window and pecked on the glass. I am guessing that this would work really well with some birds, just not this one. [EDIT: I tried to find a solution and ended up with a video from a bird expert. He said that this type of item will not help with hormonal bluebirds (and robins, etc) as it's their natural behavior. So I think these would be great for a garden or to the average bird who happened to see their reflection. During nesting time, don't expect it to work. And I never found a solution. He just stopped after eggs hatched or something.]

Had to raise a privacy wall... using 4' high cast iron screen kick plates. There were gaps where the screens screwed together. Made a full wooded support frame which gave me some 4" gaps for ornamental twillers that both my side and my neighbor could enjoy. We both are enjoying that. These smaller ones helped on the very end gaps.

Moved to a new house in a new development. So lots of dirt piles. Well, I was sitting on my front porch and had some birds come right at me! Then one of them perched above our front door. The next morning there was poop all over my front step. Learned that the bird was a barn swallow. Very territorial and would probably build a mud nest on my new house! I put these around my front porch and now the swallows swoop at the house, but turn and leave. I even gave an extra to my neighbor.

Was easy putting these up and also attractive. So it's a great way to try to get rid of the birds but also attractive to sit outside and view.

These freakin Robins were flying into our windows non stop. These seem to help a bit.

So far these are really working, I have so many magpies that fly on my patio and poop all overMy chairs and patio, since I have put these up, I see/hear all the birds but so far they are staying away. Very happy!So its been a few weeks now and still no poop!I hung these up with command hooks.Very happy, and I would definitely recommend them, they have worked great for me!

It’s seems like a great product. A little pricey for what you get. We will see but would be surprised if the plastic ties last more than a year. For me durability is everything. Time is precious and limited so if I purchase a product and spend additional time hanging it I really want it to last. It shouldn’t be an annual event. For a few more cents the ties could be upgraded to something more substantial but I know that doesn’t fit with the new culture of planned obsolescence.

We bought these to keep the birds aways but it didn’t work. They did look good in the garden

It's not colourful as advertised. Not sure if it will work.

Exactly as described. Looks beautiful. I ordered more. Just wish packaging was better. Arrived in a brown envelope stuffed in my mailbox.
