I personally love these light cheese croissants
I think these cheese croissants are wonderful! They are not flaky but are easy to handle, soft and favorable without being overly sweet, and much larger than I expected (about 6.5"x3") The cost is very reasonable, esp. if compared to buying something similar at a coffee or pastry shop. These plain cream-cheese, lightly-filled rectangular croissants make for a nice afternoon treat or a light and tasty sweet in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea. You can eat them as they are, warm them a tad, or dunk them in your coffee f you wish. My family and I personally love them.

Arrived fast and fresh
My husband loves these danishes in his lunch, he has one with his coffee when he gets to work. Problem is, they aren't in the grocery stores. I usually have to hunt around at CircleK or QT to find them and buy up a dozen or so (people give me strange looks when I do that). These are great.

They taste great for one, and they make a good quick snack when I am busy.

Disappointing
These were no better than hte inexpensive snack cakes someone can pick up at the grocery. They were not fresh when they arrived and were a definate disappointment.

Dry, too much air, too much crust, no filling
Bon Appetit makes this things full of air so they look bigger and thus more tempting to buy. Don't be fooled. The gourmet cheese croissant is slightly better than the blueberry and cream Danish, this product is still way, way too much crust and not enough filling. This company is very cheap with the filling. It's like 80% crust and 20% filling, if that. What crust you do get is dry and tasteless. I had to literally dip my pastry in a glass of water to moisten it was so dry, which is totally stupid, and nobody should have to do that.7-11 Pastries weigh the same amount for half as much $, being $1.29 instead of these ripoff bon appetit pastries at $2.29 that are full of air and crust and don't have enough filling, and are very dry. I'll stick to my local bakery products that actually have FILLING in it, and not mostly crust. Crust is cheap, and the company knows it, so they purposely withhold the very thing that would make it taste ten times better. Should be fifty percent crust, fifty percent filling. Not 80/20, or 90/10 like the apple and berry varieties are. They hold back on the goodies and give you the dry crust, but you can't tell until you buy one and then it's too late.Hostess or Franz has bonapetitbakery beat by a country mile. Way, way, way too dry and lacking the good stuff. I literally had to peel my way around to get to the small center and throw the rest away for the birds. 7-11 has everyone beat, since they know how cheap flour and sugar are, so they don't rip you off like bon appetit does. What a good name for a horrible product, it should be renamed Bon Cheapatite.
