This is NOT used or recycled. This foam has NOT been returned after use by consumers. This is bread new, never used, clean and safe memory foam. The foam is bagged and vacuum sealed to save on space, thus reducing shipping costs and ultimately lowering the price we offer to our valued customers. Once unpacked the foam could take several hours to return to its original size and volume. "Fluffing" the foam by hand speeds this process up.
