Very good quality, work well
I’ve tried a few different brands of acoustic panels like these and these are the best ones I’ve tried. The quality is very good, they are nice and dense and good thickness. The fibers are very densely packed so double-sided tape really sticks to it very well. Some other brands are more like almost very dense styrofoam which doesn’t block sound as well as these using fibers. Some other brands don’t have the fibers as densely packed so it makes sticking double-sided tape to it more difficult as it tends to fall off. These don’t have any of those drawbacks. I’d definitely get this brand again.

THEY'RE GOOD BUT THIS BRAND'S BEEN CAPABLE OF DOING BETTER
DEKIRU used to sell this exact same product in the color red and let me tell you. The red ones were actually WAY BETTER than these new charcoal/black bass traps. NO, I am not saying that because my preferred color is red. I am referring to the actual build quality. I was stuck after I could only buy 1 set of the red for my room and now I had to finish the rest in the black so my room looks a bit offset but the quality is DEFINITELY different. The red bass traps were a bit more thicker than these new ones you are looking at. In addition, the red ones ALSO went back to the original size as advertised, 12" x 7" x 7", even after receiving them in the same "VACCCUM SEALED" package. It made me wonder what else DEKIRU changed about their product besides the color difference, even though both colors do look amazing once they're in your hands. :)This is NOT intended to influence your decision because the red bass traps are no longer being available for me. However, I do think that every customer would agree that even if "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR." The quality should definitely be a priority. I have tried multiple ways of getting the black bass traps to their original shape but they still vary in shape. When I say they vary in shape, I have realized that if YOU are buying these for the first time, make sure you buy the entire amount you think you may need. Otherwise it will be like buying a shirt from a wholesaler today and one a week later only to find out that one is a lighter shade than the other but if we compare that to these traps. It is more about the size of the cut outs you have to worry about since I haven't had a bass trap that was ever a shade lighter. On my provided pictures you may be able to tell there are gaps or some may be poking out a little more than others. I have ensured that they are flush with the corners so that is exactly how they would look on someone else's wall too.I think that these bass traps could be handled a little more better like DEKIRU did when they sold the red bass traps. This is coming from a returning customer who has purchased these bass traps more than once to finish the room without making the studio look weird by having different mismatching brands on the walls.***These new bass traps require a little more care to details and will trigger OCD if you are a perfectionist.***I will gladly answer other questions as well like:- "Do they look exactly as advertised?" - YES- "Do they perform as good as described?" - For what I'm doing, YES. However, it depends on what purpose these bass traps may serve for you.- "How noticeable is the size difference between each individual bass trap?" - It depends but the maximum is about 1 inch.- "Are they better than other brands and are they worth the purchase?" - YES and NO. It depends on the project you are working on.- "Do they completely deaden the noise in the room?" - NO, but they do assist with reducing noise (i.e., reverb or anything alike).

Very satisfied
Came before expected and packaging was great

NOT THAT GREAT
I will keep these I guess since they are already stuck to my ceiling. I am not impressed at their performance. Does not block sound much at all. Makes very little difference in a small house.

One adhesive was messed up
One panel had messed up adhesive, I peeled it off and I guess it just stuck to that peel off material, I threw it away because it was sticking everywhere and stuck to itself. Unfortunately I had one left over which is a huge let down so it's like I ordered 11.The panels are really well made for artsy gaming style designs, that's the only purpose I bought it for, I don't care if it cancels out noise or not, honestly guys just buy a white noise machine if outside noise is bothering you, you'd get used to the white noise eventually I promise. The note even says that it's not meant for keeping noise out, unfortunately there's nothing that can do that, even the best noise proofing sound room foam has trouble keeping outside noise away. The only thing that you can do is muffle the sound with a white noise device and even then it only muffles 65% of the ambient noise, if you live in a very noisy environment, they won't hear what you're doing in your room but it'll sound like someone outside is speaking quiet annoying gibberish.

Easy install with double sided tape, solid, thin, dense.
I purchased 2 different sets of panels from Dekiru; 24 pack of gray, and 12 pack of black sesame color. These panels seem like advertised. The thickness seems to be true to the product description, and you can tell from the feel of the panels that they are fairly dense. I'm noticing a subtle difference in sound, it seems to be a little muffled when I stand outside. However, I think I'll need to add more panels on the door and other walls for me to truly notice a difference. One thing is that the size is not quite 12"x12". They are about 11 7/8". It didn't end up making a difference for me, but I did have to adjust my planning/calculation a little bit. They are almost exactly 30cm x 30cm though.Overall the cut is fairly precise within each color. All of the gray seems to be exact, and all of the black seems exact. There is a tiny difference between the 2 colors however, which didn't become apparent until I started placing them on the wall. I think the black is cut slightly smaller than the gray, but we're talking fractions of an inch. However, the beveled design helped to cover up any small discrepancies. They come tightly wrapped in plastic, so because of that some of the edges may be slightly bent. These are very minor, and I don't think it affected the way it looks overall.I put them up using gorilla double-sided mounting tape. I only used 2 small strips for each panel, and 1 roll was more than enough for the 32 panels I mounted. The gorilla tape is a bit overkill, so I'll probably have a "fun" time eventually removing these panels.Overall it was fairly easy to install, because the cuts are pretty exact. I spent extra time measuring where to place the top row of panels; after that it was just placing them exactly underneath.

Little bit expensive but does the job.
I hate noises, I'm that guy who mutes everything to begin some sociopathic sound investigation. Anyway I threw a few tiles on the wall behind my fridge because it was making some high pitched noise that would only drive me absolutely mad. Not that I could easily see it behind the fridge but it looks clean, oh yeah and it works, the sound is history thanks to the tiles. Grab yourself some double sided tape with a sharp cutting tool and you're sorted.

Not as effective as I thought it would be! Quick and reliable delivery however
Bought 12 to stick on to my door, hasn’t worked so far to reduce noise. Will either need a lot more or just need to change my door altogether

Great product and design
Provided the needed sound absorption and greatly reduced the sound coming out of a half bathroom on the ground floor of the house. Aesthetically looks great too! Thin, easy to install and made of dense sound absorbing material.

For improving room acoutstic only
Was planning to reduce sound level outside the room by attaching to wooden door. It didn't work. Sound volume only reduced by 10% outside the door. For all effective purposes, might as well not have used these "insulation" tiles.Perhaps it is only to improve room acoustics in the room
