Get your MYNT3D Professional 3D Pen running back up and running with a replacement nozzle. If your MYNT3D Professional is not heating up anymore, the nozzle may be burnt out and due for replacement. To replace the nozzle, use a thin flat tool to pop open the service door. Right by the nozzle, there is one small eyeglasses size phillips head screw that needs to come out. After that, the nozzle assembly will slide away from the pen body. Please contact MYNT3D customer service if you need further guidance or if you would like repairs to be performed for you (charges may apply).

I purchased this early for a gift and now my return window is closed :(
I bought this early, a month before my daughter's birthday, so I'd have it ready to give as a gift to my daughter. I ddin't want it to arrive late, so I figured better early than late. Her 3D pen stopped working a couple years ago and when she needed it for a school project, it didn't work. So I ordered this replacement part as a gift for her. Well, today, after watching a YouTube video on how to replace the tip (the part came with zero instructions), we found out this part doesn't work. The part where the plastic comes out is longer than the original tip - therefore, it's doesn't fit. I think this part only works on the newer pens.So now I've spent $10 bucks to fix this item, not even knowing for certain that the problem is the tip, and the tip isn't compatible. Highly disappointed.

Waste of money - poor design and no support
The headline says it all. I purchased the MYNT3D pen for my fifteen y/o daughter and within 3 months the nozzle broke off the front of the unit. The issue is that a single screw holds the hotend to the unit, and the plastic around the screw is incredibly thin... so it breaks easily. Ours broke from the pressure of the filament being pushed through the hotend. So we bought a new hotend (that you see here)... and the exact same break occurred. So I contacted MYNT3D. Twice. Never a response. Stay away from this company, its just not worth the hassle and headache for a broken product.

Worked perfectly on my pen, as well as the original, or technically better than the original so far since I obviously had to replace the original.

Great Customer Support
Previous nozzle was clogged so I bought this replacement. After screwing into place, it will not longer heat up past 30 degrees. I screwed on the old nozzle and it heated up all the way to 230 like normal. The new nozzle LOOKS fine. I see no visible issues with it. I'm assuming the issue is with the rod connections. The pen still warms up but the sensors doesn't detect it so it stops heating up after 30 seconds.I'll try contacting customer support and update if there's a response. Seller's name is Ditec. (I assumed I was purchasing through Mynt3d)UPDATE: The seller sent me a new nozzle and it works perfectly now. Thank you!
