DellC1422H 14" Full HD LCD Monitor - 16:9 - Silver

I was skeptical of buying a mini monitor like this, but figured since it was from Dell, it would likely be at least a decent fit for my needs. This blew my expectations away. As an attorney, I needed the extra space while on the go, but something sleek and light enough to carry in my (already packed) briefcase. The screen quality is excellent, the set up is as easy as plugging it in and extending your screen in settings, and the organizational / productivity payoff is massive. Don’t listen to the people saying it’s not good for gaming or movies or whatever. That’s not the point of this device. I will make sure everyone at my law firm gets one of these.

I needed a new spare monitor to use for work while traveling that I could carry with my laptop on flights without 1) taking up too much space, 2) weighing too much, and 3) only needs a single USB to power on/function. This monitor fits the bill and more- it is very sleek, light, and the screen is high quality with significant lighting/brightness. It even comes with a nice sleeve so I can slide the monitor + the USB C cable it comes with directly next to my laptop in my bookbag without any concerns.

Light weight! Portable! Single cable connection and just WORKS right out of the box. Have referred this to several colleagues and they love it too!

This has been easy to use and pack on the go. Comes in a nice pouch to protect the screen from getting scratch. Picture quality is good and a great value for the price.

Simple to use and installl, works well with my Dell laptop. But I've seen it work well on Mac too.

Got it in “used” condition from amazon warehouse for $120 and it came new. Pretty satisfied with it, love that instead of embarrassing awful looking back stick or case holder thing that usually comes with external screens to keep them standing this thing uses base that holds it up and you can adjust the angle to your liking. Bag is nice to touch and handy when you need to travel somewhere. Resolution is as stated, so don’t expect it to be outstanding. I use it to run some automated scripts during my work so I can track some things that I need and it gets the job done. My little money maker haha.

Refurbished apparently and did not work. There is an apparent issue with the hardware on this particular monitor that has not been corrected. And also the item did not come with the c-type usb cable. I bought three different c type cables attempting to make this monitor work but all efforts were unsuccessful. Don’t buy refurbished from amazon.

I purchased this monitor because it’s small enough to fit in my work bag/carry on. There is no setup needed, you just plug it in and go. I really like the built-in stand. It’s very durable and sturdy. I bought another brand recently that had the monitor cover as the stand and it was horrible. This works much better!
