AA batteries are the perfect size for USB charging as well
I first came across these batteries while searching for normal NiMH rechargeable batteries. As it turns out, AA batteries are the perfect size for USB charging as well. When charging, the green cap pops off and hangs to the side, revealing a USB interface that can be plugged into any USB slot. Once plugged in, a green light will illuminate, which means the device is charging. When it's finished, the light will disappear. Pop the cap back on, and it's ready to use.I have noticed that the battery does not seem to last as long as other rechargeable batteries. However, I have not run any tests to confirm this. Even if this is the case, however, I still believe this is a 5 star product because of the convenience of the USB charging. I purchased multiple quantities of these, so when two batteries run out of juice, I can simply plug them into the computer and replace them with two batteries that are fully charged. When those run out of juice, repeat the process. The battery takes roughly 8 or 9 hours (in my experience) to completely charge from a completely drained state. This is about the same amount of time it would take for an NiMH battery to completely charge. However, this battery is more convenient because it does not require a wall charger (though one can be used).Overall, this is a great product created by a great concept. I would recommend this to anyone looking for rechargeable batteries.

Great Product!
I bought a 2 pack of these AA USB rechargable batteries in Feb. and ever since then they have work great. I use one for my mouse and the other stays charged incase the mouse one runs low and I rarely have to change them out. I use my mouse almost every time i get on my laptop and I'm one here everyday hours at a time and it is nice to have batteries ready when ever you need them. They stay charged over time and fit a USB 2.0 slot great. I can not tell the difference between a standard non rechargable AA battery and a USB rechargable barttery in terms of energy longevity and space. They are a little more expensive than a traditional rechargable battery but with this u don't have to carry around a charger all the time.

Gets the Job Done.
I'll start out with this -- these batteries are pretty nice. This was a stellar invention and engineering push forward -- rechargeable batteries are becoming a norm with the pretty high cost of batteries nowadays -- but rechargeable batteries VIA USB!? Now that's something different. Some good things about the batteries:Innovative is a great descriptor for these batteries. If I was travelling, these would definitely be a MUST. Charge these before you go on your trip, and you're set. They get the job done. If you need two AA batteries for your wireless mouse -- these are perfect. I was able to get these batteries to hold charge for a month before having to recharge them.Unfortunately, every pro has its cons.. here are the cons of these batteries:The charge time. It takes 5-6 hours to charge them fully. It'd be best to charge these overnight because of the amount of time it takes to charge them. The life span. I was able to get about 3-6 months worth out of your standard store brand AA batteries -- these batteries however last not even half that. The cost. I bought these batteries two years ago and I have not seen the price of these drop. Nothing has changed -- same mAh, same product, same price.. technology and science is always progressing -- I'd think after all this time the batteries would be just a bit cheaper. If I had to make some amends and improvements to this products, I would a) Improve battery life (increase mAh), b) Make the lithium-ion more effective (charge faster and maintain charge a bit more), and c) lower the cost (mostly because of the flaws of the product).BOTTOM LINE:I'd give this a 4/5. Sure they're useful, but unless you buy it in a bigger bunch, maybe in a pack of 16 batteries, then you'd be getting some worth out of these. Otherwise, having to charge these batteries once a month for 5 hours is a bit ridiculous. But hey -- as long as it gets the job done, I can't complain.

Never again getting batteries of this kind
to be completely Honest this was a big mistake to buy and worst ot all I bought two separate times thinking maybe I got a defective product the first time, it takes a lot of time to load these things and also one they finish loading they last maybe 4 hours maximun not adequate for extensive use and for the price I got them better gotten a buch of alcaline batteries, I would not trust to buy usb batteries ever again neither from this brand nor from any other brand if usb batteries in general last this very little no thanks

It works! It lasts!
I have been using these batteries for at least 3-4 yrs & recharged them a number of times.Pros:works well in multiple devicesSeems to hold the charge wellGood powerI love these batteries. Mine do not take but a few hours to recharge. They last quite a long time in my devices. If you use only these batteries I would suggest buying 2 sets so you will have one set fully charged to use while the other set is charging. I plan on buying another set when they come back in stock.

Big on cool, not so much in use
I don't want to sound too negative here, but these batteries are pretty dismal in their capacity. I originally bought these for use with a Logitech Bluetooth Travel Mouse. Using standard disposable batteries I get around 3 months of use, with these batteries it's around 1 month. I've since changed to using 2700mah rechargeables and keep these in my backpack in case of an emergency. The other issue I have is the amount of time it takes to charge. It must be in the range of 16 hours or so which seems excessive to me due to the aforementioned low capacity. The idea behind these batteries is great. I can't say enough about that. However, they seriously need to look into what could be done to increase the charge capacity - even it's only to around 2,000mah.
