This takes up very little room when folded and is perfect for my 20-gallon long tank. I've used it to move shrimp and fish and had zero problems. Highly recommend it.

The only negative is the sturdiness of this. If bent accidentally, it may break. You get the good with the bad. Otherwise, the telescoping feature is useful for storage but also using in larger/deeper tanks. It easily captures snails, shrimp, small fish, plants, debris, etc. The density of the net weave makes it so all the water doesn't immediately pour out, but also prevents water from freely flowing through, so water can push your 'target' out of the day.I wouldn't say this is the perfect net for all situations, but is great for shrimp keeping if you need to capture specific shrimp (ex. culling, selling).

This little net is perfect for catching shrimp fry. The net is stiff so it stays open as you scoop shrimp fry up. Short net so it doesn't catch on any decor you may have in your tank. Unlike the typical net that is long and limp that catches on anything and everything. I would purchase this again!

This net is perfect for collecting grass clippings, and handling my betta, and shrimp. It has a telescopic handle that works perfectly. Love it.

One of my tanks is a 40 gallon tall. This meet showed me to reach the bottom, no problem.
