Hasbro Jenga Vintage Wood Book Edition

We have played this game several times now and we enjoy it very much. It is a very nice box that fits well with my other boxed/book games.

This works great as a game of jenga, but I was expecting some nice, dark-stained wood, just as the original Jenga was made of a light colored wood. The pieces I received are wood, but just painted brown. They don't look that great. The case looks and works fine.

We've enjoyed Jenga for years - but always have had problems with the cardboard boxes after multiple moves (Army family) and just taking the pieces out to play and putting them back. Like the other Wooden boxed games, this solves all the cardboard box problems and they look great on a book case!

This is a great way to display games that you play often. Its really is like a collection of art work in your home when you have about 8 to 10 of these games displayed!

The game comes with a cardboard tower shaper that is instantly ignored because it is cumbersome. Otherwise a fun and loud game that the amply can play for hours.

I started collecting this wood book set when my mother bought me the monopoly one. Each of these has been a great addition of the collect.

I bought it for my sister's house warming. She loved it. She's a collector of these "vintage" style book game sets.

After months of searching I was fortunate to stumble across this set at my local second hand store for $2 (a steal I know!) and I am so glad I finally got to add it to my other vintage wood book games. It has more of the rounded edge than some of the other later games but it still looks great on my shelf. I like that the pieces are a nice dark brown and not an unfinished wood color like some of the cheaper versions.
