X 120 ---> W/V equals A 105W/120V = .875A **Q: Can you use a thermostat with this?** A: So far out of four AC Infinity Suncore mats [2X 48x20] [2X 20x20] THREE mats overheat my seed trays. I've lost FIVE 72 cell trays all seeded. Puzzled by NO germination, I used a meat thermometer and the readings in three of the trays was 95-100*F and the fourth was 75*F. Either AC Infinity Suncore mats have zero quality control or the overall quality is POOR. Be aware these mats will bake your seeds killing the seed germ. If you have them use a probe thermostat. **Q: What temperature is L M H?** A: Put your seed tray under a grow light, preferably with a dome. Then lay a thermometer underneath the dome on top of the seed tray. Then turn the thermostat to medium; Wait for about 6 hours and see what the temp. is.In my case it was about 85 degrees ; I then turned the thermostat between low and medium and it went to 82 degrees.( I put a piece of insulation between the wood shelf and the seed mat.) My seed tray is in the basement; The air temp. is 67 degrees .So the mat raised the temp in the seed tray about 15 degrees. Now, I hope I have good germinating seeds. **Q: Can this be hvac taped to the back of a terrarium for inside ambient heat?** A: I would not that's not what it's for. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best! *by on Reviewed in the United States June 11, 2023* If you want quality products that do what you need them to do and keep on doing it then ac infinity is the brand to go with.Their products just feel like quality and they perform just as good as they feel. I’m so glad they have focused so much on their line of indoor gardening equipment because it gives growers a high quality option.Anyway, these mats are perfect! I grow thousands of out her plant seedlings and I prefer to use a heat mat while germinating them. The past few mats have fallen short because they use a thermostat that must be inserted into the soil to read the temp. While this may not seem like a big deal, I’ve had the sensor come out before and narrowly avoided frying my seedlings! These mats however use a dial that you can tune to perfectly set your desired temperature (I use a laser thermometer for soil temps) not only is that helpful but it makes it much simpler to achieve your desired results.Another thing I really like about these mats is they are not bulky at all. The technology they use is infrared and not heat coils. Which means it’s EVEN HEAT and with no hot spots like coil mats have. I feel like that’s a much safer option as heat coils, while rare, can short out. They do take slightly longer to reach peak heat but does a few extra minutes really matter when germinating seeds? Not really. If you are looking for a high quality heat mat that will outperform any others you’re going to find, just do yourself a favor and go with these. They won’t disappoint!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works well and very durable *by on Reviewed in the United States March 15, 2024* I've been using mine to warm stained glass while cutting and soldering with a silicon mat on top. They work nicely and have held up well.I'm very satisfied with my last purchase, and will be purchasing another one for a unique application. My workshop is not heated at night so I've built an insulated storage box for items that I cant allow to freeze. The seed mat will be sufficient to keep things above freezing ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve already found several uses beyond starting seeds. *by on Reviewed in the United States October 3, 2025* These seedling mats are a nice large size, and easily fit two of those standard square seed starting trays. My seeds germinated quickly and grew heartily. I love the adjustable temp options, the control is placed well and easy to adjust, which allows them to be much more versatile in a variety of uses. After my plants went outside, I was also able to use one to hatch baby brine shrimp to feed my newly hatched fish, and the other to warm bread dough, to increase the yeast activity. For anyone who bakes, warming butter and other ingredients on these can be very convenient. The mats feel heavier duty than others I’ve used, and are smoother when laid flat, and are very easy to clean and sterilize. The price was fair. I’ve purchased from this company before and always enjoy the quality. One mat does get a bit warmer than the other, and that’s the only thing that throws me off with these. I don’t know if this is a common issue, or if one has a flaw, or even if they all have some variation. ## Frequently Bought Together - AC Infinity SUNCORE A3X2, Dual Waterproof Seedling Mats with Heat Controllers 10" x 20.75", UL & MET Certified Heating Pads, for Indoor Gardening, Hydroponics, Germination, Cloning - AC Infinity Heavy-Duty Large Humidity Dome w/Full Spectrum LED Grow Light Bars, Samsung LM301H EVO Diodes, Drip Tray, 6x12 Cell Seed Tray, 3mm Thick Dome, Vented Extension Panels, for Seed Starting - AC Infinity CLOUDFORGE T3, Plant Humidifier 4.5L with VPD Humidity Controls, 10-Level Precision Vaporizer, Extendable Targeting Hose and No-Leak Seal for Grow Tents --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.au/products/395358586-ac-infinity-suncore-a3x2-seedling-mat-10-x-20-75](https://www.desertcart.com.au/products/395358586-ac-infinity-suncore-a3x2-seedling-mat-10-x-20-75) --- *Product available on Desertcart Australia* *Store origin: AU* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
