Love it. Already bought a 2nd for another corner of the house. A little time consuming to chain together but not difficult at all. Easy to install on existing gutters.

Rain Chains Direct Contempo Rain Chain, 8.5 Feet Length, Aluminum, Gray.Looked at dozens of these and many had low reviews. We needed Rain Chains as a low cost and decorative way to add gutters to an outbuilding that abuts our paved patio. After several light and heavy winter rains we can attest to the effectiveness of these chains. We put one chain on each side of the outbuilding. My wife likes them and so do I.They do not splash water all over the place as we saw in some video reviews of other products. We both recommend this product.I think they do the job well at a very affordable price.

We purchased this rain chain several months ago and finally got around to installing it. Coincidentally it was a rainy day with periods of very heavy pouring. This chain holds up to very heavy rain, with the water staying within the cups and not splashing around the sides.We love the look of the chain and only wish that there was an option to purchase smaller segments as we could use just 2-3 more cups for the height of our house and don't need a whole other chain. Perhaps the seller will consider selling smaller segments of chains that might have been returned due to a bad segment on a full chain (though I don't see how as they feel very well made, but production or shipping issues happen). This is a beautiful, functional, and sturdy rain chain.Update June 13, 2020:The chain has held up great for the last 3 years and we still love it!

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased for our pergola as the constant rain drip is leaving heavy marks on the concrete. I bough the extension to creat two long chains. Working great. The little buckets have a nice detail.

I had seen the rain chains and decided to try one on an area of my house where it would be useful and look sharp. I can't wait until we get some rain to enjoy it.

Easy to install on our back yard shed that only had one gutter, connected to a rain barrel now and works even with heavy rainfall gets the water from the gutter to the barrel. Shows no signs of weathering, still a dusky aluminum / silver color, no green /blue tinges at all. I would recommend and buy again if I needed this solution to divert water. These have been installed for +1 yr - so holding up just fine!

The assembly requires bending soft aluminum chains for each cup. The aluminum has very little spring to it so the bend leaves the soft metal disformed. The "powder coat" is frail and also chips immediately upon assembly. For the price I would expect a slight higher quality product. At least with the extra money spent on a "powder coat" which does not hold up. Otherwise looks good and does what it says on the tin as long as you don't look close at the chipping paint on the chain. I'll probably just touch it up with some Rustoleum but I'm disappointed and figured I warn others on what to expect.
