This sensor light has a built-in light sensor. When you open the case, you will find a small white component next to the LED, which is the light sensor.. You can completely or partially cover this part with black tape to adjust the startup brightness of the sensor light (the default is 20LUX). When completely covered with black tape, the light sensor of the sensor light will fail and it will light up in a bright environment.

Could these be used in a mini fridge?

This light is a human infrared sensor light, it will be affected by temperature, it may be a little unstable and lead to insensitive induction, or the induction interference will cause it to light up randomly. Why doesn’t one of the lights turn off ?!

The first situation: The light have Auto-delay function, the sensor time will reset to 20s when motion sensor detected again. It will ONLY turn off auto in 20s after detecting your last movement. So the sensor working time will actually exceed 20s. It only turn off auto if no more motion sensor detected in the range. The second situation: Environmental airflow changes and temperature changes will cause great interference to this PIR motion sensor light, making it think that there is a human body moving (Caused by the working principle of PIR). We recommend not to install lights around fans, stove or air conditioners. If you are certain that the light is non-functional, please contact us and we'll provide a FREE replacement or refund.

The light is no longer bright it gives off a dim light?

I have some in a high traffic area of my house, they get dim before the batteries die. When I put in new batteries the light works good again.
