Heirloom quality
I purchased the largest bowl of this set from Kohls about 5 years ago. Always wanted the remainder of the set (These nest nicely in the large bowl I already have. These are heirloom quality that will outlast even the youngest baker that receives them as a gift. I absolutely love these bowls and the thickness is beyond commercial quality.

Really glad I purchased the set!
These are the best bowls. I was given a set over the holidays and turned around and bought a set for my sister for her birthday. They are great! Nicely made thick steel. Still lighter than glass and the coating on the bottom holds them in place while mixing. Just wonderful all around. A bit on the expensive side but well worth it to me. :)

Great Bowls But Be Careful
I bought these for my wife about 18 months ago at Kohl's but it shouldn't matter where they came from as that is not relevant. My wife loves these bowls and has thanked me many times for the thoughtful gift. They are heavy gauge stainless steel and the soft, grippy base make them her favorite.Unfortunately, yesterday she took the mid size bowl out of the cabinet to use and found the rim of the bowl had a split in it. These bowls have always been hand washed not put through the dishwasher and they have been used but not abused and never been dropped or otherwise stressed from other than what I would call normal use from hand mixing. Yesterday it was just the rim which showed the crack, today the split has grown to over an inch long (see photos from today). I looked at the other two bowls and do not see any evidence of a crack or split forming, but she had used the split bowl just a couple days ago and it had no signs of a split which she would have noticed right away during use or when washing the bowl afterward.I don't know what we will do. The bowl is dangerous to use the way it is as you could get cut on the sharp edges of the split. It could also fail completely and if there was hot liquid in the bowl it might be spilled on you or someone nearby potentially causing a burn.I plan to contact the company and see what they say about this. Given the price and the quality of these bowls this should not be happening. We have SS bowls that are many years older that are still fine. It may have something to do with the method used to make the bowl that builds some stress into the bowl which has finally found relief by separating and forming the split.

I looked for them here and was so happy some were still available
I first saw these bowls at Kohl's a few months ago. When I picked them up, I was astonished by how heavy they were, and the quality was unparalleled. But they were pricey, and I decided to pass. I kept thinking about them, however, and soon returned to buy them. Yep! They were all sold out. Grrrrrrr.Anyway, you guys know the rest of the story. I looked for them here and was so happy some were still available. You can't go wrong with these mixing bowls. The sheer weight and silicone base makes them extremely steady on the countertop. They are worth every penny and then some! Love them!
