Not a good product.
They fail to tell people this item will send a notification to your phone but does not notify with sound or vibration. They want you to subscribe to their service for real notification. They also say the button is waterproof but it is not.

Works great!
Helps us keep track of my 93yo grandfather. Absolutely love it.

Good luck getting it to work.
Purchased this disregarding the reviews & comments about how difficult it is to get to work. I thought: "I'm a technical person and can probably get it to work..." - I could not.. Couldn't figure it out.

Effective remote monitoring. . . without a subscription!!!
My MIL needed a way to allow remote monitoring of her husband while she runs errands. A camera, teo-way voice and a way for him to easily request assistance were needed. 24/7 first-responder dispatching (and the accompanying monthly subscriptions) is not required at this time, but they may want to add this as they “age-in-place” in their own home.Mobi provided a camera with voice and a simple panic button solution without a subscription. Set-up was a breeze. We even purchased a second panic button so one is always nearby. Great job Mobi!

Another App who forgets what they do!!!
The app was complicated to set up, but I did finally get all the setting right for my 84 yr old mother. The button NEVER connected to the monitored network, and I called the company no less than 6x to resolve. I explained my mother does not know how to do anything technological, but of course, thats what was needed to create the link. I have to say, you serve old people, not people that are app savvy. Get some understanding what you do, which is selling an an emergency button for people at risk. They are not 30 yr olds, they are 80 yr olds!! Terrible company, service and product. Forget it and get life alert.

Frustrating to Set Up
We are getting to that age where I thought something like this could come in handy and was sort of disappointed first of all with how complicated it was to set up. I realize I'm in my 60s but I work my laptop and robotic vacuum and smart lights without a problem.First of all when I used the scan code in the instructions it took me to the google play store and I have an iOS device. Thankfully I could find it in the app store and installed it. At that point you have to register an account with mobi. I'm really not crazy about that but I know that's how all these companies are. I could see if I was getting the paid service but just to use the device and the app it should not be required, yet it is. So I had to make an account with my email and they send you a code to verify. Not crazy about this portion of the product.Next it tells me to power on the main part of the device that connect to wifi but it does not say how to do that. The diagram in the app shows something to press but that is not on the mobi device. I was not even sure if it had to be plugged in or was rechargeable. It would be nice if that was spelled out in the instructions. I ended up plugging it in and through process of elimination I got it to work.fyi you have to have 2.4 wifi or it won't work.So next I had to set up the help button. The instructions have it on there but nothing is in the correct order of set up. You have to stick a pin or the enclosed poker thing in it to set it up. Took me awhile to figure it out since right after setting up the hub it started talking about other things. Also to change out the wrist strap for the necklace landyard you have to pry it open but it's not simple and the instructions to do it were not clear. I thought maybe I was supposed to use the little pin thing. it says to run an object along the edges to open it but I could not get anything in there to start running it along the edge. I ended up prying it open with my fingernails. Not really user friendly. So I finally figured all that out and try the button and it sends me a notification but it's not nearly what I would consider to be alarming or even persistent. I have an apple watch so I got the little ding on my watch unless my phone was switched on. Normally my apps notify me on both and to me it should be set to notify with a tone that is going to really startle me. I mean if we were using this expecting a response unless I happen to hear the little ding I could totally miss it. It did repeat like 5 minutes later, but I expect it to be like an alarm that does not stop until I shut it off. I guess if I put the phone numbers in we would get a call or text but that can easily be missed too.I do like that I can at least use this without paying for the service. Unlike some other devices like this that won't work at all without a subscription. Also if you do opt for the subscription it's not super expensive. If you pay by the year it's under $60.Overall I am giving this 3 stars because while it has some good features, it's not quite as helpful as I had hoped for, and the set up was not user friendly and some aspects did not match up with what I was seeing in the app...and the directions were lacking basic info like how to power on a device etc. Thanks for reading my review

Needed to Return - Strong and reliable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal required - with separate domain from 5G
Wonderful concept.Mobi customer support was exceptional.Mobi Plus app was straightforward and had easy-to-follow on-screen instructions.Unfortunately, the necessary 2.4 GHz signal required for adding the hub device and emergency call button sub-device simply would not link-up to the app. I worked with the internet service provider and with Mobi customer service to ensure all settings were appropriate/correct, including splitting the dual-band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi domain/login from the 5G domain/login service. Even though the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal was perfectly sufficient for the phone and phone app, the hub simply would not connect, and attempts indicated insufficient internet strength. Unfortunately, I had to return the unit and look for an alternate system.I do think some if not all of the issue with link-up was due to insufficient AT&T internet service/signal strength in the home where we were attempting to use the system.

Nice Concept
Got 1 for Christmas addon. Nice concept for the emergency button since there are so many news about people pass away at their own home. Did not expect the extra pin I guess could be useful for phones lol. 2.4 GHz wifi might be annoying for some people but I got lot's of smart home devices so I know how it works. Not sure if I need that optional service will see in the future I guess.
