PowRyte Elite 20 Oz Composite HVLP Gravity Feed Air Spray Gun with Regulator

Used this gun for the first time yesterday to paint a panel and couldn't be more impressed. You get an amazing finish with little overspray for what you pay. I laid down base coat with a different gun but was looking to make this my clear coat gun. I put two coat of All Kandy Wet Wet clear coat on at 35 psi and this gun shined. There was NO orange peel and the clear coat laid down like glass. Aside from little dirt nibs (don't have a paint booth) the finish was flawless. If it weren't for the dust in the air I wouldn't have to sand and polish at all. This gun is amazing and clean up is a breeze. I put some thinner in the cup, back flushed it, removed the needle cap and air nozzle and cleaned with thinners. Gun was clean in less than 10 minutes. Awesome buy! I would highly recommend it.

I need to do some routine maintenance on my sprayer, and cannot find my manual. Tried contacting PowerRyte and their site did not have a manual. I tried emailing them, came back undeliverable. So, PowerRyte, how about some customer service??? When this sprayer is functional, it does really good. Right now, it is Tango Uniform!

Not sure why but my regulator on the paint gun does not seem to work correctly.

I thought I would give this gun an honest try but please believe me that the comments of it being a great gun is incorrect. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I use an Iwata currently and needed a replacement needle. It wouldnt arrive in time so I thought I would give this a shot after the glowing reviews. It didnt come with the air regulator, and the needle stayed compressed against the fluid tip even when the trigger was fully unscrewed. What a waste of money. Pay the little extra and buy a good quality paint gun!

Can't beat the price. I'm not a pro im just a hobbyist that needs to lie down some clear coat finishes on wood. Works great in my application. I recommend getting the regulator with the gun. It makes it to easy to plug and spray

this product was pretty cool, it arrived on time and was easy to operate, im a beginner to painting with a sprayer and i was able to get the hang of it in 30 mins i would recommend

Paint has to be thinned perfectly for this to work. Must be cleaned thoroughly after each use. Lots of plastic parts. Needle mechanism is cheap.

This worked for about 20 minutes. The nut beneath the handle became loose and stopped functioning properly. I tightened it and it stripped and started free rolling and therefore leaked air. I know this is a budget gun, but losing $30 of paint, hardener, and mineral spirits while waiting for a different model hurts. Do not buy this. Look for a metal one that won't strip.
