Disappointed with longevity
The raised tailgate letters looked and felt very durable on arrival. I put them on my tailgate after bringing the tailgate inside to be sure it would properly adhere due to the cold weather. I love the way they looked but after only a few weeks they are all corroding and pitting. I will be returning as they don’t hold up to the New England winters.

Better than Expected!
First mod on my 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road, so I was very hesitant but given the great reviews I felt confident this was going to be a good experience. The packaging was great, as were the high quality METAL letters. The 3M adhesive is already applied to the back of each letter and perfectly cut to match. The instructions were a little confusing as it says not to apply when it's hot (how are we defining hot?), but on the back it says to use a heat gun or blow dryer. Here's what I did for my installation which turned out absolutely perfect. The ambient temperature was 90 degrees. I made sure the truck metal was not hot, so I kept it in my garage for a few hours. Cleaned the tailgate embossed letters with rubbing alcohol and made sure it was dry. I pulled out each letter and did a dry fit to make sure there were no issues before I started. Next, I pulled off the 3M transfer paper and used a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive. Nothing crazy, just make sure it was warm and sticky. Here comes the nerve wracking part that requires a steady hand. Once you place these letters into place, they aren't moving so take your time and be patient and careful. There is a bit of wiggle room within the embossed letters, so make sure they are straight and even before pressing them into place. My biggest fear was dropping one of the letters onto the ground and having a bunch of grit on the adhesive, but that didn't happen. The entire installation took about 10 minutes. It looks like it came from the factory that way. My wife was super skeptical and wanted vinyl letters, but once I put these on and showed her, there was no turning back. We both love how it turned out and how it makes such a huge difference in the way our truck looks. Very happy and would highly recommend! (Photos included)

Looks great
You can see on the pictures the big difference that this letter make in your tailgate, I will give them a few months and I hope they still in my truck and not falling down, so far happy with it.One thing is that the letters are not as wide as the pictures in the advertising is not a lot of difference but there is a difference once you have them

Quality that you can feel as soon as you have them in your hand
My first impression was great. Letters seemed very well made out of a quality metal. The packaging was excellent with each individual letter in its own slot / cutout in the foam a cardboard box. Adhesive backing seemed to be of good quality - although only time, and conditions it endures, will tell - and I was able to install the letters within fifteen minutes of receiving the package. I mean I was done, and was taking pictures at that point. Some people might have issue with not being able to line the letters up properly or center them exactly within the indentations on the tailgate, others, like me, can take their time and use their eyes and peripheral vision to ensure the letters are lined up and centered before pressing them in. Once they are in, it would be foolish to try to pry them up and then move them. The adhesive would have been compromised by then. Luckily, it was one shot, one kill for me with each letter and they all came out lined up perfectly even if my truck was parked tilting sideways. I did notice the edge of the adhesive backing showing under the cross members of the letter A. I am not sure if that was an alignment issue when the adhesive backing was mated with the letter at the factory, or the fact that the part of the metal I am talking about is so narrow, that you are bound to see it. To be clear, I am talking about viewing it from below. Standing behind the tailgate, they all look great and I hope they stay on for a very long time. I am happy with my purchase. If they start peeling off I will update this review.

Metal material that’s built to last and perfect fit. A Tacoma must have accessories!
Very sticky Adhesive tape with rubber cushion on the back part of the metal letterings. It definitely is a must have. I almost bought the other brand that went for 30 plus dollars, but luckily i came across this. Lesser in price but the quality is really good. This needs more 5 star reviews and more recognition. The black matte lettering definitely gives a better design on the tail end of my Toyota Tacoma. Highly recommended!

Great- but odd directions.
Product looks great and installs easy. Didn’t quite understand the verbiage in the directions, as the TAC and OMA are packaged together in clear plastic. The directions tell you the letters line up but they don’t, as the tailgate letters are much further apart. Regardless- they are great quality and have that metal 3D look. I’ll update if they fall off- but so far so good.Hint- heat up the tailgate with a heat gun or hair dryer as you put each letter on- gives you a little bit more time for wiggle room adjustments.I think some other companies provide a test letter to practice, perhaps the seller should look into that.

Easy install
This was so easy to install. Not even ten minutes of my time. For those who seem to have trouble getting the letters to stay on, make sure you don’t skip step 2!! Heat the letters before putting them on! Once I had them on the were so stuck that I couldn’t even adjust the one I wanted to move a little more down. Hah great quality and look awesome on my 2020 Off road.
