​If you own a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, you already know how notoriously dim and outdated the stock halogen headlights are. Upgrading to these LEDs has been one of the absolute best modifications I’ve made to my JK, and the difference in performance is incredible. ​Plug-and-Play Installation: Installing these was straightforward and hassle-free. Everything lined up with the factory mounting points and wiring harnesses seamlessly. I had both sides fully swapped out in under 30 minutes with basic hand tools. ​No Anti-Flicker Issues: One of my biggest concerns with upgrading headlight units on the JK platform was the dreaded CAN Bus flicker that plagues so many aftermarket LEDs. I’m happy to report that these worked perfectly right out of the box with zero flickering and no error codes on the dash—no extra external anti-flicker modules or tedious custom wiring required. ​Dramatic Brightness Improvement: The light output is a night-and-day transformation. The beam pattern is crisp, ultra-bright, and clean with a sharp cutoff line that throws light far down the road without blinding oncoming traffic. The bright white color temperature eliminates dark spots and vastly improves nighttime visibility, whether cruising down back country roads or driving in the rain. ​Overall, this is a major performance and safety upgrade over factory lighting. It completely modernizes the front end of the Wrangler while making night driving infinitely safer and more enjoyable. If you’re still running stock halogen lights on your 2008 Wrangler, do yourself a favor and get these immediately!

I actually don’t know why so many people have put a bad review. These lights are wonderful. Probably the best lights you could have for a jeep. Incredibly bright and stable. We did use the full kit. I see many people just plug it in but we rewired it and it’s been working perfectly.

These headlights work great. Nighttime visibility is a huge improvement and they look fantastic on the car — modern but still works well with a classic setup. They weren’t exactly plug-and-play in my case. I added an H4 harness and also wired in the turn signal, which required a bit of soldering. Nothing complicated if you’re comfortable with basic wiring, but worth mentioning so others aren’t surprised. Overall, build quality is solid, light output is excellent, and once installed they’ve been trouble-free. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend if you’re okay with a little extra wiring.

LOVEEE these lights. Pretty easy to install. I did have to shave down a little of the headlight bucket on the passenger side as mentioned numerous times, BUT it is nothing serious at all to do. The halos between the headlights and fog lights are slightly different. Could just be the size difference. Either way they look amazing. I wired all 4 halos to one wire to an add-a-fuse in the M9 slot. Right beside that slot is a hole that goes through the fuse block that I ran the wire through. Made for a very clean install. The only complaint really I have with these are I originally installed the fog lights upside down. I had to go back in and flip them over. I figured the right side up would be so you could read the DOT SAE and whatever else is on it, Except this was not the case for the fog lights. Also the adjustment screw was facing up instead of down (where theres a hole in the bumper so you can adjust it without taking it off). Mine may be different because I noticed in other pictures posted that the lettering was right side up and didnt have as many words. Also the fog lights Slightly flicker. It is not noticable with the head lights on but with just the fog lights on you can see a small flicker when behind a car or shined on a wall. Also you may have some fogging when you first turn them on. Mine were in both fog lights. there is a breather for the fog lights and it will fix itself. It has been about 24 hours and I had them on for about an hour and the fogging went away completely even with the lights off. If it happens to the headlights theres a plastic cap you can pull off known as the breather. I just drove 30 minutes from work wondering why it seemed like my headlights were not fully on. They started with no snow on them but as it was snowing and the wet mist off the road was freezing on the front of the jeep, it was also freezing on the front of my headlights. There was no snow melt at all for them and it was only 28 degrees fahrenheit. Also I left them on for a while longer while in the garage and the lense was still ice cold. Being that I am located in an area that has snow for months out of the year, that is a big deal for me. For that I had to knock a star off, one star for the missing function, and for the seller confirming that it would melt the snow. I am disappointed that this is the case because I really do like the look. I will be doing further testing because I do not want to give up on these

I installed these on a 2013 JKUR. First, watch an installation video. Search YT for the one by TyBonez. It was linked in his review here, but I think it might have been taken down. If you are prone to motion sickness, you might have to pick a different one. He does a great job of talking about which way the lights go, which wire does what, and how to hook up the auxiliary wires for turn signals and DRL's. Let me give a word of advice though before you watch the video. For the fog light installation, he starts by taking off the undercarriage air dam and then realizes he "also" needs to remove the plastic piece on top, right behind the bumper. DO NOT REMOVE THE AIR DAM. Go straight to the piece on top. You will need new plastic rivets to reinstall this piece as well as the grill. You can do all installations with just that piece and the grill removed. You have to remove and install 4 screws without being able to see them when putting in the fog lights, but if you have just a bit of mechanical acumen, this will not be that tough and will save you a ton of time dealing with that stupid air dam. BTW, don't call it a skid plate or you will get flamed on the JK forums. Ask me how I know..... There are a ton of reviews, but wanted to add mine because I spent a lot of time looking at about 10 different light options and finally settled on these. For the price, they are definitely a 5 star value. They look great. The DRL and turn signal function are a nice touch. I took them through the carwash, they had just a spot (dime size) of condensation in each, but cleared out within a few minutes. I will update this post if I experience any issues, but installation was straightforward and took about 90 minutes start to finish with the fog and headlights. As others have mentioned, the fog and headlights are slightly different temperatures, but that doesn't bother me considering how infrequently I use the fogs and mostly just wanted those for off road situations anyway. I am very happy with this set and love how they look. If they don't hold up long term, I will update this review.

Writing this review after 10 months of use. These lights are very bright and are a huge upgrade from stock, and for me negate the requirement to add peripheral offroad lights. Having watching a couple of youtube videos I found the installation process pretty straight forward. The beam height will need adjusting once installed as the default position on these are higher than stock. For reference I have a 2007 Rubicon Unlimited and shortly after installing the lights I began to notice the following issue... When driving, there was a 3 second delay going from low beam to high beam. The issue would continue to deteriorate with the passenger side high beam stopping all together. Turning off the engine/ignition immediately remedied the issue and the lights began working again. This was very frustrating to say the least. Troubleshooting steps... 1. I noticed was that I was unable to replicate the issue with my jeep in the garage without the engine running. Low beam to High beam worked just fine, no delay and no passenger High beam issue. However when I fired up the engine and revved it a little, the issue returned. 2. First thing I did was to swap the driver and passenger lights. Interestingly the issue continued on the passenger side... so this ruled out that there was a problem with the lights themselves. 3. I swapped the "H4 to H13 Adapter Cable" from the driver to the passenger side and again the problem remained on the passenger side, so not an issue with the adapter cables. I was not seeing seeing any error codes on my dash or on my OBD-II reader. Having read a couple of jeep forum threads it seemed that this problem may be due to how the lights handle the current whilst the engine is running, thus the onboard computer interprets that there is a problem with the passenger light and thus disables it after a couple of uses. Although these lights already have anti-flicker built in, I had an inkling that a Canbus Anti-Flicker cable may help as if you read the description on many of these cables they mention that they also fix "error codes", which I suspect was the root cause despite not actually seeing an error. I sent an email to LX-LIGHT describing the problem and they responded immediately with a notification that they had shipped me - "LX-LIGHT (2PCS) Jeep H4(9003) Anti Flicker Harness" which I received within a couple of days. The good news is that after installing the harnesses (on both lights) the issue is now resolved and I am a very happy customer! So not only 5star for the product but 5star for customer service.

Installed these on my 2014 Unlimited Rubicon earlier this week and tested them at night yesterday. They work great! So much brighter than the stock headlights, and the halo is awesome. No problems so far. Those who got ticketed for using these or are constantly getting flashed by other drivers must not have aimed them properly. A few tips: 1. If you want the daytime running light halos to be on all the time when the Jeep is on, use a fuse tap to wire them to an empty slot in the fuse box rather than tapping the middle wire on the turn signal like the instructions say. That would only turn them on when the amber parking lights are on. If you do choose the fuse tap option, you will have to make your own wiring harness, so soldering skills are a must. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had included a wiring harness for this, but it's not too hard to make your own. 2. You do still have to shave down the notches in the plastic receiving mount for the passenger side headlight. 3. Make sure to properly aim both the headlights and fog lights so you are not blinding other drivers! 4. If you have an aftermarket bumper like mine (a Poison Spyder Brawler Lite), there may not be enough clearance between the bumper and the front crash bar protecting the steering components (and Rubicon electronic sway bar disconnect mechanism) to get the old fog lights out and put the new ones in. I had to use a Dremel to cut a notch out of the crash bar in order to get the fog lights past it. Removing the bumper would have been another alternative, but I found it easier just to cut the crash bar.

I can see how the headlamps might be visually mistaken as fitting the jk, but actually the tabs that insert into the lamp assembly are too large and the geometry is wrong. See picture. I just dremeled mine until they fit;-) And, you know it is kind of in the working on your own jeep tradition to make it fit. So if the price is nice for you, go for it. Also, you will need to add some taps to your wiring harness to get the day time running lights and signals to work. And you will need some conduit to run to the fuse box for the DRL, and the wire guage they provide is, well, just fine for LED! But not to the 18 guage spec for the jk harrnes. So this is all fine even if cheaping out on proper wiring guage. But more work and tiny expense for conduit and a fuse tap. I should note, there are two taps you need to make with this kit, one to create your own Y for the turn signals and another running back to the fuse box accessory circuit for the DRL. I recommend you look for a jk kit with the proper Y split cables to deliver power to both the lamp's amber cat's eye and the stock turn signal lamps. (The DRL is going to need to run back to the fuse box in any case, but that is easier than tapping a wire for the turn signal so I'd say worth it to get Y cables, imho.) This really could be a one hour install if it was a complete kit for the jk. Running conduit and electrical is going to cost a bit of time and a spare Jackson. Overall it does not fit the JK and the Amazon fitment tool should not report that it does! A lie is a lie, one star.

Bought these headlight units 2 months ago and when I received them they looked good. took a while to get all the parts I needed to fit them to my Hummer H3 but when I got it all I paid to have them fitted. However one of the headlight units has a fault as the halo ring lights up white and orange all the time. I complained to Amazon.sa who said they had issued a full refund without the need to return, then I was told I would have to return all of the headlights and fog lights to get a refund. I explained that I just wanted a replacement for the faulty light as I didn't want to have to pay to have them all removed and then re-fitted again as it would cost more than the headlights themselves. They have refused to be understanding regarding the cost of removal and will not send the single headlight replacement even though I have sent pictures showing that only one light is faulty!. I do not recommend buying this product because odds are they will be faulty and Amazon.sa doesn't care about it.

I can finally see again! Lights are amazing, look awesome and extremely bright. Installation took some time and googling as the instructions are pretty vague and only made for headlight installation but not the fog light installation, overall I am extremely impressed by the quality of the lights and their performance for the price.
