MUST KNOW: If you use this, use it quickly, and for a section less than 2". It became all clumpy & would not stay on the glass less than half a minute after I opened it. No oportunity to apply to other broken lines, and do not think about a second coat, By the time you got two more pieces of tape to mask out the line the contents of the little bottle is already set & clumpy.

The box said it fixes rear window defogger and tab but the directions inside the box do not even mention the tab that I needed to fix. And it didn't!

The product does work. I had to fix 12 broken defrost lines. Hard part is to find them. Once found the hardest part is to try and contort yourself to adhere the tape between the lines, and my corolla has a really low rear window so it took time to put the tape where required. Once that was done, the silver paint went on without a hitch. Oh they now give you a small paint brush not a q-tip applicator. Much better.

didn't work very well; part of it went on the masking tape (as it should have) and when removing the tape the paint lifted off from the grid as well; I was left with bits painted and bits missing

Despite the box saying its for grid lines and tabs, this kit is only for a single repair of the lines. This does not contain anything to fix the tab portion explicitly written on the box.
