High-Quality Rackmount Case for Home / Office Use
Overview:I used this case to rackmount my Gaming PC with a Windforce GTX 2070 Super, and an ATX-Micro motherboard. This case looks like it could easily accommodate a full-size motherboard with the caveat that you may need to get some right-angle SATA cables depending on your motherboard SATA header placement.Fans:This case came with one 120mm Fan.The case has 3 additional unpopulated 80mm fan bays - one in the front and two in the back. One thing that the item description and other comments miss is that the front 80mm bay is specifically outfitted with rubber grommets at every joint to reduce fan vibration noise, which was a very welcome and surprising feature at this price level.I outfitted all fans with low-noise Noctua fans and had no issues.Case Design:This is a pretty standard rackmount case. I previously rackmounted several other cases of similar design and this is pretty much the same thing. All screws and portions of the case are easily accessible, if not intuitive to figure out which screw goes to which component. All said it was pretty painless using the proper sized screw.None of my components were damaged, worn, stripped, or especially sharp -- this case is manufactured properly using the correct materials and tolerances. It's actually better than many PC cases I've used in the past, to be honest.Features:This case comes with one laptop drive bay by default. That is a bit surprising. You may therefore need to purchase additional 3.5" bay conversion kits, which are cheap enough. The case comes with all screws and standoffs and even has several white zipties to assist with cable management, definitely a plus.Huge plus: There is a bracket for holding/seating the power supply. This bracket is adjustable for 9 different positions! Definitely helpful for getting slightly-wonky power supplys into the bay and mounted securely.Overall Opinion:The description for this product and the other comments are generally positive for this case, but having dealt with similar hardware before, I can safely say this case is high-quality and built to last. I really recommend it.Other Notes:I have previously mounted AIO coolers for CPUs and GPUs in other rackmount cases similar to this one. This case does not really have any room for a 240mm radiator anywhere on it. You MIGHT be able to get away with a 120mm radiator mounted to the 5.25" bay grates through the use of some nuts and bolts from a hardware store, though. The clearances would be pretty tight and it would really depend on the radiator brand. I know corsair only has about 10-15mm on either side of the rad and may fit there, but it's pretty hard to say. With the 120mm and 80mm Noctuas in the front and a single 80mm in the rear, airflow is gratuitous and I doubt I'll have any issues aircooling.

excellent case
I had a rather old desktop (started life as Win XP) that I built years ago, and I was getting rather annoying with it's very slow performance. It was time for an upgrade! My solution was to get a new mother board, new processor and 8 Gig of memory. So I got the following from Amazon.com.ASUS AMD A55 SATA 3.0 Gb-s 240-Pin DDR3 2400 Motherboards F2A55-M/CSMCorsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866 MHZ (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory (CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9)AMD A6-5400K APU 3.6Ghz Processor AD540KOKHJBOXI assembled these parts in the old case. While putting it all together I was reminded of how much I disliked the old case. After starting it up and installing Windows 7, it was wonderful β so much faster and just an overall great PC. The Asus motherboard runs the processor at 1.4 Ghz when idle then steps it up to 3.8 Ghz when it's required and back again when done. It very efficient - draws about 40 wats when ideling. Now that old case that was very cramped and difficult to work with needed attention, so I decided to get a new case. I looked around and decided on aXION XON-720P mATX/ ITX Slim Desktop Case, USB 3.0, 5 in 1 Card-reader, 300W PSU, BlackI Bought the case from another vendor, on sale, and when it arrived it was worse than the old one and the mother board didn't even fit properly (Micro ATX board in a Micro ATX Case?) . So I returned the case. By the time I was done paying the return shipping and a restocking fee I was out about half the price of the case (very bad deal). I then looked around very carefully for a better one and after a lot of measuring I decided on the following from Amazon.comChenbro Rackmount 4U Server Chassis RM42300-FWhat a wonderful case to work with. When I installed the board in it, it was such a pleasure β no trying to make things fit and it has drive cages that are easy to remove, mount drives in and reinstall in minutes. It has a 120mm fan with a filter in the front and places for two 80mm fans in the back. It's heavy and a bit large, but rugged and well made β first class. It is higher and wider than the old one, but fits where the old one was in a shelf, it works out good because the top and sides do not have air vents, all air circulation is done from the front and back. With everything installed and operating the processor is running at about 26 deg. C and the MB at 25 Deg. C (while I'm writing this) and I have not installed any fans in the rear. Now that's a great desktop PC, except for the power supply that was in the old case. It was an inexpensive supply with a noisy fan. So I said β I have come this far why not. So I ordered the following from Amazon.comCorsair CX Series 430 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Bronze ATX12V/EPS12V 384 Power Supply CX430MNow it is so quiet I can't here if it is running or not.I am running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (had Win 7 x86 before). Boot time to login prompt is about 35 Sec. My old Adobe Photoshop elements 5.0 that used to take a couple of Min. to start now takes about 6 Sec.

Plenty of space but cable management and CPU Cooler limitations.
I swapped out the 120mm fan it came with for a Noctua one so the loudest part of my system is the Hard Drives. Not plugging in the LED light for the power button is a must unless you need a guiding light through the darkness that is life. Cable management is tough so I recommend a modular or semi modular power supply and if you're not using the other bay can shove excess cables there.I have a Gigabyte AB-350 motherboard and a Hyper 212 evo cpu fan and it's just too tall to close the lid. If you have shorter motherboard standoffs I highly recommend using them! Airflow is limited to be a front to back configuration but honestly that works just fine. The removable dust filter on the front fan is a nice touch.I could fit a GTX 960 graphics card comfortably but not sure how a larger card would fair.Good case with expandabililty for a modest home NAS I do recommend using shorter Motherboard standoffs if possible with a semi or fully modular PSU.
