This works ok, but it has some limits making it not really universal. It is very handy if you just need to tighten something and you want one tool, say, in the kitchen that you can grab quickly, instead of digging through the toolbox. However, for practical use, it has several issues: (1) the pins do not create EVERY size perfectly, and I did have slippage on several bolts when I tried to really tighten them. Others gripped brilliantly. (2) the thing is like an inch wide in order to accommodate small through large sizes... but this means a smaller bolt in a tight space is inaccessible. I had to tighten a smaller bolt on my kitchen stool, and I couldn't get this thing in there because of the bulk. (3) it isn't nearly as deep as it looks, making it not very useful for holding nuts, for instance, if a bolt protrudes out of the middle more than a small amount.

First time ever using for simply loosening a bolt and it broke. I'm so disappointed with this product, it was a Christmas present for my boyfriend who was very excited about having one since he's seen so many advertisements. Typically I don't write reviews, but I made an exception in this case. Don't waste your money on this and just buy a cheap ratchet set. You'll be much happier!

This is a very handy universal-ish socket for household sort of bolts. There are things this is very good at things I wouldn't use it for. I purchased for general light work of nuts and bolts...stuff I assemble around the house and curse when I can't find the right sized socket. It's great for that. Now this is not a replacement for a socket set it is an addition to it. I would not use this for any bolt that is torqued down or stuck. I have no expectation of doing automotive work with this but this is perfect for my household tool box that I try and keep somewhat minimal

So, I have seen tons of commercials for this thing and my husband loves receiving tools and whatnot. So I figured this would be a great, cheap stocking stuffer for him!Nonetheless, my review is currently 5 stars because I have received the item, and customer service reached out to me to make sure I got it, so that is a huge plus. It's wrapped under the Christmas tree! But we haven't used it yet. I will come back and change my review if necessary! He seems excited about it- keeps trying to "guess" what it is by shaking the small box..

I’ve been seeing this socket on television for a long time. Decided to finally try it out as the price was pretty reasonable. IT IS GREAT! Husband agrees. I’m about to send another to my father-in-law because he was jealous after seeing it work. Haha

First time (an old time mechanic) I have bought something like this socket. The minute you open the package you immediately see and feel the quality... weight and finish that insure you that you didn't buy a cheap scam. It comes with the drill to 1/2" adaptor and I slapped it into my Makita hammer drill and put it on what needed to be removed.... the drill hammered away enough to insure me the quality was indeed as good as the finish... and that includes the adaptor.Grade "A" happy purchase

Like any tool, I buy I expect it to work. It Does! Now I am no professional, but this is handy for me, because I don't have to lug around a box of sockets. Great for a homeowner who's got a bunch of work to do around the place. Good tool.

This thing rocks. I didn't want to spend money on a bunch of different socket sizes, and I needed to take some bolts off the seat in my car so I could clean underneath the seats. I didn't know what size socket I needed, so I figured I'd give this a shot. It worked like a charm, and fits on a drill and a regular socket wrench. Great value for your money!
