Difficult to get out
If this was purely a review on how effectively the cup works without spilling or leaking during the day then this would be 5 stars. However, for ease of use I would give it 1 star. Not too difficult to get in, you just flatten it and fold in half. The instructions say to twist it to make sure it opens out fully however this is very awkward to do.I couldn't feel it during the day and there were no leaks at all. However when it came to getting it out again I got really distressed and upset. I tried to remove it several times and stopped to take a break and calm down and tried again in 20-30 mins. The problem was that the suction between the cup and my insides was very strong and when I tried to pull the cup out it pulled my insides too and it began to get painful the harder I tried to pull. The instructions said to squeeze the base to release the suction but this wasn't working and the more I tried the more blood started to leak. Looking online at other reviews and methods to take it out said to get a finger and thumb either side of the ridge at the edge of the cup and squeeze to release the friction however I couldn't reach this.I did manage to get it out eventually after nearly 3 hours and everything that the cup had held throughout the day was messed everywhere so the cons outweighed the pros in my opinion.

First time cup user - impressed!
I chose this cup over others because of the steriliser case which is very handy. I've used cloth pads for years but still had to wear tampons for sports and my flow is so light that even the smallest ones were uncomfortable, plus TSS risk. This cup is surprisingly easy to insert once you get the knack of it, after a couple of times I'd gotten a feel for how it should sit (there's loads of helpful YouTube videos on "how to") but I could feel the stem, which I've now trimmed to half length. Removal is still an issue as you have to push it out while trying to break the seal. The steriliser cup is easy to use although it does flex so wear oven mitts when removing from the microwave. It folds down for easy travel and can be used as a case when you're not on.I've thrown away the instructions but I'm sure it said in broken English that if you're over 27 get the size large. Ladies I can confirm your vagina will not grow a size once you turn 27! I haven't had children so went with the small.Would recommend to everyone, it's better for us as no risk of TSS and for the environment - and our wallets!

As others said get it right it works
Edited- had this for several months now, working beautifully, can't feel it when in place, really easy to use, can stay in for a good while without needing to rinse- great if you're out and about, love it.I bought the large- 2 kids and over 35 here,.. good fit, bit strange getting used to insertion, and I admit in my first week of use I had a couple of leaks, issues with perfect positioning and the stem was a little too long so I needed to trim it but really, you want to be able to take some off if it's too long rather than wish you could add more. With a bit of practice totally reliable, easy as anything to clean, yes the sterilising cup is squashy, so just let it cool before you go trying to take it out the microwave otherwise you will scald yourself.I know it's in but often can't feel it at all, or when I can it's only just,.. I never got on with tampons but am fine with this,.. I guess it's cause the silicone isn't drying or irritating like they can be.So I definitely recommend.

Comfortable + no leaks but stalk not long enough!
This is my first time trying a cup although I am in my 40s. Since I haven't given birth I thought the S size might be right for me - it was. And, I am not a tiny woman. Inserting it was tricky (one leg up on chair). I gave up trying to rotate it into the correct position. I needn't have concerned myself: the cup automatically adjusted itself within half an hour! The special silicone or rubber material is soft and gentle on the body, I didn't feel it after it was in position. There were no leaks. It surprised me how dependable and comfortable it was. The only thing I don't like is the short 'stalk' - I would prefer a stalk at least TWICE the length. This is what put me off wearing the cup a 2nd day. I had difficulty locating and removing it to safely empty the contents into the toilet.

Very good
I like the idea of this very much. I have used it for my last 2 periods and am impressed with how well it works and the comfort of it. The cup its self is very sooth and soft to touch and the rim is firm but moves easily. There is no smell from the product proving to me that it is a safe material to be using in a intamate area. The bag is handy to have as makes having it with you very discreet. The sterilisation pot is a handy bonus as can also be used as a storage pot. Sometimes i am aware of it being there but think is more down to how i am putting it in rather than the item its self. It can be a little fiddly, so you do have to be comfortable with the process of putting it in. On occasion i have have problems getting it to unfold but again this is a personal error not the item. From a personal hygiene point of view i feel cleaner and fresher than when using other products.Very please so far.

So far, so good
So I'm starting this at 4* and I'm going to update in a couple of days. It's day one and I would say I found it a bit tricky to get in, as it's quite wide even for a small cup. It does fit, however, and I think it's a case of getting a technique going.Haven't extracted yet,but have done my research so hopefully this won't be problematic! I can see what other reviewers mean about the length of the stalk, it's tricky to get hold of but certainly not impossible. The cup is comfortable so far, but I was unable to twist to ensure the cup had opened, so whether there are leaks is yet to be determined. So far so good.

Comfy and convenient
I’ve recently swapped from using pads to a menstrual cup and this is the easiest I’ve found so far. I’ve gone through 2 periods so far and haven’t had any leakage or discomfortHaving the bag is helpful and I didnt want to have my cup loose in my normal bag incase of it getting dirty but having the handy bag and the cleaner helps a lot
