Tabletop Fire Bowl Pot|Indoor/Outdoor Portable Tabletop Fireplace–Clean-Burning Bio Ethanol Ventless Fireplace

This indoor/outdoor tabletop fire pit is very pretty to look at. The flame dances high up inside the glass chamber and does radiate a little warmth as well.There are no instructions included, but putting the unit together is pretty much self explanatory. The only confusing part for some seems to be the shallow pan. That is if you want a tea light instead an alcohol flame, then you put the shallow pan into the opening and use the tealight candle instead.Using the fire pit is straightforward. Stand the metal base so enclosed area with the hole is at the top. Insert the container with the fiberglass wool into the opening, drench the wool with rubbing alcohol, add the glass so if fits inside the narrow rim, and light the fiberglass with a long handled lighter. I usually add enough 91% alcohol to drench the fiberglass, not go above. Make sure you wipe any spills dry so nothing will catch on fire outside the container.That's it. Enjoy the beauty of the flame!A word of caution: The metal base of this pit is very lightweight, so if used outdoors the wind could easily knock it over or lift the glass off the base since the rim is rather shallow. Protect the pit from such happenings and it will be fine. Needless to say, children and pets should not be allowed to play near an open fire. it is recommended to let the alcohol burn off completely, but if you need to extinguish the flame you use the snuffer with the long handle to do so.Amazon.com sells sheets of fiberglass to replace the one in the chamber once it gets too unsightly. Some firepits come without any fiberglass, but with those sheets that can easily be remedied. I prefer the fiberglass as it absorbs the alcohol which then won't slosh around in the chamber. It also seems to make for a more controlled burn.As for this fire pit and for its beauty, highly recommended.

Nice addition however I did have to revert back to video on how to properly light. I was very nervous. Using the stick provided was a little challenging on how to effectively use. Directions could be better for a literal person to properly and safely execute.

The media could not be loaded. Very classy item, fits well on my table and create a nice atmosphere the flame last very long. Very easy to set up and put out the flame. Definitely worth the price very affordable

Love it but the fire only lasts 30 minutes before you have to refill- other ones with the gel last 4-6 hrs.

Como artículo de decoración esta lindo, funcionalmente calienta muy poco, el alcohol dura al rededor de 1.5h y se percibes su calor solo en un radio de unos 30 cm.

Muy bonito y de buen tamaño, sólo que el protector de vidrio queda suelto y hay que tener cuidado de no moverlo o se cae.

Très belle cheminée de table, se remplit avec du Bioethanol ( se trouve très facilement dans les commerces pour un petit prix), la flamme brûle environ 1h30 à 2h en fonction de la quantité mise!Je recommande!Vous pouvez également retirer l’armature en métal pour obtenir une cheminée de tablé entièrement transparente !

This was bought with ethanol bio-fuel for a dinner party, it created a lovely ambience and actually surprised us by how much heat it gave off. I thought that there would be decorative stones in but these weren't supplied, however I would recommend.
