Yale does not require much to be mentioned on their product offerings and I am very happy with the lock cylinder. It came well packaged with 3 keys and it took 10 minutes to fix this on the main door. Works very well with key movement very smooth from outside and smooth operation from inside to lock/ unlock with the knob. Great product and very reasonable price.

The Yale box delivered unsealed and the screw inside it was outside the box in Amazon package. The lock itself is good, yet the packaging and unseal is very bad, packaging was not professional and suspicious

Just replacing the double key cylinder to a thumb turn for fire safety. This seems good and sturdy. I know you can get super expensive cylinder versions but having had these and tested, not a lot of point for most housing areas. Really good value and accurately sized as described- as I had ordered 5mm smaller than existing one, so it fits flush, and it fitted exactly as expected.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. Over here in Australia I can get a carbine cylinder for $60 with two keys. The carbine cylinder is ok, but the key is a basic key, and the cylinder has no anti-pick, anti-drill or anti-bump properties. Unlike this Yale one which has all those properties, and also come with a significantly larger key (and three of them) and generally looking like a far superior product. And it cost $30, half the inferior local variant.

Firstly, this has to be one of the easiest locks to install, honestly all I needed was a screwdriver and I was good to go with replacing my lock.I have replaced others around my house not always Yale. But with this manufacturer you always know your getting a good quality product. But I can only speak for this particular product.The lock works as expected, much easier with thumb turn as my old lock didn’t have one.You are supplied with 3 keys, and I had to get some more keys cut. Need to mention that not every place may be able to get the keys cut due to the length of the key.Overall, it does the job and really easy to install. If you are wanting extra security features and high grade lock. This may not be the one for you.There are other Yale types which have more extensive features. You may be better of considering these, but be wary as these are more difficult to install.I would recommend purchasing this lock.
