Good sound
Sounds nice, easy to install. Installed in a 1958 Chevy truck that has a smaller space than current vehicles to install.

Amps power level misleading....
Purchased this over other units due it being 75w per channel.Turns out it's only 40w per channel.Everywhere it says that it is 300w (4 channels), even on the box it comes in.In the manual it states that it is maximum 40w per channel?So Soundstream sell it as 300w, but then tell you it's actually only 160w once you read the specs in the manual.No specs on their website either for this model.No mention of peak or RMS anywhere either.Emailed Soundstream for clarification, is it 40 or 75w per channel?That email was returned due to their 'in box' being too full.I have installed it running 6.5" splits in the front and 6x9" in the rear of my boat.It sounds fine, but I'm pretty sure it is 160w as stated in the manual, and not 300w that it stated everywhere else.5 stars to Amazon's customer service however!May 2018 update to my review.In less than a year and only used about 10 times the Bluetooth has failed.I can’t connect iOS or Android devices.Avoid this unit.Wish I’d purchased a Fusion!

Misleading description
Does not have 32GB usb playback. Seller insisted the problem was either manufacturer or Amazon. Other than that, not a bad unit.

Not Bluetooth 4.0 and has hard power off
I’ve been using soundstream products for over 20 years and they have been great to me until this one. This unit is not Bluetooth 4.0 and has a hard power off so it makes a loud thump when turned off no matter what volume level or what input is selected. The Bluetooth has a lot of feedback when music is not being played or is paused. The radio and aux functions did work fine, but I mainly needed the Bluetooth function so I returned it.

False advertisement/non working unit/pitiful customer service
First off the product is misrepresented a Bluetooth version 4.0, but is one the 2.1 version. Bought for someone as a gift when they finally got around to hooking it up. The unit will not even power on and is shorted out on the inside. Now because it's been over the timeframe they want me to pay shipping both ways for a return and replacement. Also will only refund 80 % AND me pay shipping to return a junk unit that They sold me. BUYER BEWARE

I've received a wrong product (IPX5 protection against IP65, bluetooth 2.1 against 4.0) and secondly the box indicates 300W (for 4 channels, although the technical documentation says 80W 4 channels)
