This love story is truly 'Something' wonderful
Whisper of Love: Tempest Braden (Love in Bloom Series: The Bradens in Peaceful Harbor Book 5) by Melissa Foster brings two careful characters together at just the right time. Nash and Tempest find signs at every turn and as their friendship grows to include trust and love, there's no stopping their hearts. This love story is full of heartwarming moments and steamy scenes, pure entertainment and heartfelt healing, not to mention tons of family love and support. While both Tempe and Nash had their own emotional growing to do, they do so together with so much love and support. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the absolute cuteness that is 'Flip', Phillip. This little guy of Nash's is adorable and a palpable source of Nash's love-filled heart. This single dad made me all ga-ga and swoon, a true reading delight.Overall, as always, Melissa Foster delivers another awesome romance read that touches the heart as much as making it race. Every single character is beautifully flawed yet so easy to love. With characters that consistently deliver heat and heart, I don't want to miss out on any Melissa Foster book.

Enjoyable
Easy to follow stand-alone. No editing errors, gratuitous violence or drag-you-down drama. This entertaining storyline focuses on love and happiness. There are no ex’s, dramatic flare-ups, etc. Enjoy reading about a little boy and his father learning how to interact with the outside, their haven, world. Believable characters with distinct personalities. Thought-provoking and memorable dialogue.“In a world where apps connect strangers to hook up without even knowing their names, and likes and shares are sold like commodities, I think hope and love are more than enough. They’re everything.”No desire to re-read this story. I always look forward to works by this author.

I challenge you not to fall in love with this book!
I am such a sucker for a single dad story and this one is no exception. Nash and his little boy Phillip (Flip) are just too irresistible. I was a goner from the get-go. Little Phillip is just a mini version of Nash and when Tempe meets them for the first time there is no mistaking the draw to both of them. As with all Melissa Foster books, the character development is deep and the family dynamic is ever present despite anything else going on. That is one of the things I love most about her books.Meeting Tempe opens Nash’s eyes to what he has been missing from his life even if he didn’t realize it before. She respects him as a father but helps him be able to let little Phillip grow. Separately they are two caring, generous and beautiful people, but together they are a force of selflessness, passion and a love so strong.Don’t get me wrong, Nash and Tempe heat up the sheets like it is their job, but it is everything else that they do for each other, for Phillip and others, that makes them one of my favorite book couples. This was such a great story, you will instantly be entranced. Another 5 star read by Melissa Foster! Some of my favorite quotes from the book: Nash to Tempe:“I’m becoming more of the man I used to be every day, only better. Thanks to you.”Tempe to Nash:“You’re Daddy first, boyfriend second, and that’s one of the reasons I like you so much.”Philip to Tempe:“Tempe, Me and Daddy want to marry you. ““Please marry us and be my mommy.” (And btw, how could anyone with a heart say no to that? )

Must Read for Foster Fans
Fair warning for those opposed to insta-romance, this story moves fast! But I loved it! Something about Tempe and Nash seems to demand they don’t pussy-foot around. Even with Nash’s son, Phillip, in the mix it still felt right to me.The story of Nash and Tempe is one of timing, fate, signs. They quite possibly would not have been ready for each other 6 months ago. But now…now is the perfect time in both of their lives to find their happiness. To allow themselves to take instead of give; although they both do a lot of giving still. As a mom, I was interested to see the direction this fast paced romance would take with Phillip in the mix. Melissa Foster did a great job of having Tempe step in and having Nash accept her suggestions. Mostly because Tempe was never judgmental and always had the child’s best interest in mind. Plus, everything was put in a way that Nash could see she had a point. Even when he got touchy about certain things, Tempe understands it’s a natural reaction and Nash understands he’s being over-protective. The dynamic between the two of them really works well. Not only is the relationship sweet and tender, but Nash and Tempe also could set the room ablaze with their desire for each other. The whole chapter that deals with Tempe’s first day moving into Nash’s house had me running between butterflies and hot flashes. My oh my those two could generate enough electricity to light the town up!If you can’t tell, I definitely think everyone should read this book. It’s fun, thoughtful, sexy, heart-breaking, heart-mending, and heart-melting. I came across this old post of mine from a few years ago about this series as a whole. It may help you decide if you would read this as a standalone (which can be done) or if you want to read the series from the beginning (which I recommend). At the time I wrote that post two years ago I had 9 books of this series. I now have 48! Most of them I’ve rated in the 4 star range and none have been rated less than 3 stars. This author knows what she’s doing and she does it well.

Awesome
This book is one of the best contemporary romantic suspense I have read. It was suspenseful. Full of intrigues and twists. It was a fun to read. The constant changes in the voice of narrators almost turned me off. It will be nice if the narrators who make the storyline real to life be used.

Simply amazing!! 5*+
This has to be one of the most sincere stories Melissa Foster has written so far. I was only about 20% through and all ready drowning in the beautiful storyline, it was hitting all the right spots even though it was very early on.Melissa Foster writes with such care and attention, she thinks of everything and she always incorporates subtle messages and lessons on life to some degree. By the end of her stories I always come away feeling so satisfied that I've learnt something new.Whisper of Love is beautifully written and captures your attention from the very beginning.Tempest is looking to rent a room and Nash has a room to rent out.... you can feel the anticipation building already especially as we don't know a lot about Nash nobody does it's just him and his cute son Philip there's an undeniable bond between the two of them and as we witness them doing their daily chores around their little farmette it's a beautiful moment, we've already fallen in love with them and it's at this point that Tempest graces them with her presence... the scene is set. Tempest loves it... Nash can't take his eyes off her, there's an immediate chemistry but it's early days and she hasn't taken the room yet but you desperately want her too... of course she does.!The storyline bulilds beautifully and so does the relationship between Tempest, Nash and Philip, we start to learn things about Nash's past and it's very emotional in parts but Tempest is very patient, she helps him to work through his issues and over come his grief she came into their lives just at the right time. When Nash and Philip are introduced to Tempest family they are welcomed with open arms, it's another beautiful moment and it was lovely to hear from familiar faces it makes you feel at home and you have to thank Melissa Foster for this, she's given us these fabulous stories and characters that we've grown to love so much.Whisper of a Love is full of so many wonderful moments, Philip is absolutely adorable and Nash is very endearing and as for Tempest she couldn't be more perfect. I was hoping that there wasn't going to be any repercussions from Philip's mother, I didn't want anything to spoil what they had going on.That all important moment happened and it was another beautiful moment, Philip defiantly stole the show it was brilliant and with everybody reunited it couldn't have turned out any better.!No two stories ever feel the same and when you think how many there have been it's pretty incredible! However I'm looking forward to reading all about Ty and Aiyla in Fall in Love... I have it on pre-order!Thank you Melissa Foster..

Heartwarming
I'm not really good at writing reviews but Melissa writes the greatest books I feel bad not writing them. I loved this book so much because of the love of a father for his son isn't always shown beautifully. Lots of times we know that mothers give up slot for their kids but we don't really realize that fathers do too!! Like Nash giving up his dreams about sculpting . Then the chemistry between Nash and Tempe is great!!! And I loved the song in the end!!!

Beautiful and sweet
Melissa Foster has such a way with words that tell a story with such sweetness, compassion, emotion and vulnerability without the characters getting stuck on only one emotion throughout the story. Nash and Tempest and of course Phillip are brought to life with such softness that you never want the story to end. The extended families are always around in a Melissa Foster book and they always make you want to reread their stories or can't wait for their story to be written. If you need some tenderness in your life read this.
