Q: Will this lock fit a Pullrite ball?

No, it is designed to fit a fifth-wheel pin designed for a plate slide in receiver. Unless the manufacturer has made changes, I had to remove the yellow coating on the leading inside edge so the device would fit over the pin on two of the trailers I owned. I removed the coating with a Dremel-Tool grinder in about five minutes and they worked great!

Q: Will it work if there is a pull rite adapter plate installed on 5th wheel pin?

The Trimax TFW60 Ultra Tough Alloy 5th Wheel King Pin Lock will not work if there is a PullRite adapter plate installed on the 5th wheel pin. The lock is designed to fit a standard 5th wheel pin, and the adapter plate will make the pin too large for the lock to fit. The PullRite adapter plate is designed to allow a 5th wheel trailer to be towed by a vehicle that does not have a standard 5th wheel hitch. The plate adds additional width to the pin, which allows it to fit into a receiver hitch that is not designed for a 5th wheel. If you have a PullRite adapter plate installed on your 5th wheel pin, you will need to use a different type of lock. There are a variety of locks available that are designed for use with adapter plates.
