FINELED E11 Mini-Candelabra Screw Ceramic Lampholder Socket,E11 Mini Porcelain Candelabra Base Socket with 8 inch Lead Wires for Light Bulbs (1PACK)

The 100 W halogen bulb in my MinkaAire ceiling fan, originally installed in 2008, burned out. I assume the E10 socket must now be obsolete because I can't find a bulb with that size base. I want to have the light so time to replace the socket with an E11, and the mount on this socket looked similar to the old one, so I tried it. It was perfect. I just removed the 2 mounting screws, cut the wires, installed the new socket with the same 2 screws, stripped the wires and used a couple wire nuts. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. For the bulb I bought the 9 W dimmable LED, providing up to 1100 lumens. It is the longer 3" bulb, but it fit easily under the globe, which I screwed back onto the light and it all worked perfectly. Now I have the same brightness for less than 1/10th the energy, and it's dimmable, if desired. I don't think it could've been an easier socket replacement.

I ordered this for a small project I was planning using some leftover bits from other projects. Imagine my dismay when it arrived and I discovered that my E11 lightbulb couldn't fit through the opening in the ceramic top in order to engage the threads on the socket.

Needed this for an outside ceiling fan, none of the big box hardware stores carries this. It was an exact match and took about 5 minutes to wire up.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - this was NOT the the size for which the product code said :( - My stupidity for not paying closer attention :( - NOT USEABLE WHATSOEVER - NOTHING FITS IN IT! NOTHING!

Bought this to add 2nd LED bulb to a ceiling fan lamp. It matched the OEM fixture perfectly. Works as expected.

I used this product to replace the lamp holder socket on my Minka Aire ceiling fan. The mounting bracket for the lamp holder was a exact replacement so I did not need to drill new mounting bracket holes.

I was able to fix my burnt out ceiling fan after having no light for so long. Worked great!
