Allegra K Women's Double Breasted Notched Lapel Plaid Trench Blazer Coat

This is a well-made lined jacket. I love black and needed a jacket to offset black slacks and skirts. This jacket is perfect. It runs small in the back and shoulders but fits perfectly in the front on me. I am going to keep it but because of the fit, I won't be buying another color.

The size of the arms doesn’t match the size of the rest of the jacket. It was too big around the middle and too tight in the sleeves.

I got the brown version. I kept debating whether or not I would keep it. I’m 5’5”, 200 lbs and got the XL. I carry the weight well having fat plus bigger bones and muscle (German genes). My rear end is on the big side and my belly is also holding a bit of weight, that’s where the problem lies in this blazer. The buttons when closed amplify my lower abdomen a bit and doesn’t lie flat on my bum. I finally decided I’ll bring it to a tailor to shorten the sleeves by an inch, the total length by 1-2”, and see if the buttons can be raised as I think it will fit/look better at my natural waist. I know, I could look for a better-fitting jacket, but I’m really liking this one and they say you should take off-the-rack clothes to a tailor no matter what to get the best fit for your body.

I actually tried this on at the Amazon style store and ordered it online. First impressions it is really good quality and has a good weight to it. The lining/stitching is consistent it’s great for layering or to dress up a look.

I am usually a M but I bought a Small and it looks great! The Small is a little snug in the arms for me but a Medium would not have been so slimming and adorable.

Liked the quality of coat sleeve length a little long which doesn't bother me , well made. But the deal breaker isthat is uncomfortable through the shoulders which is disappointing. Sending it back.

I liked the colour somewhat, was expecting lighter browns & more reds, like your photo.

The coat is nice, it's a good pattern and doesn't necessarily feel cheap, BUT it's not worth almost $100CAD - I could have bought the same thing at H&M, Old Navy, etc for the same quality. (The reason I didn't was because I needed this one for the color/pattern/length and couldn't find one anywhere else).The fit is good, I usually wear a M or L, and went with L. It's a little roomy in the shoulders but good if I want to wear a sweater underneath.
