Limited instructions but figured it out, no use on ceilings
As a new user of a laser level I was a bit disappointed by the very limited instructions that came with this level. In the end using a bit of common sense allowed me to figure out what was going on. The main puzzle was that there seem to be two ways to turn it on - either by sliding the self-level lock switch to the unlock position or by pressing an holding the 'power' button. In the unlock position the laser self-levels - this is all fine. However in the 'lock' position it wasn't really clear to me if I should self level first and then lock it - I can't really figure this out as in locked position, the two lines never seem to be at 90 degrees. Turning it off requires sliding to lock or if already in lock a long press on the button to turn off. A short press temporarily turns just the laser off. Self levelling is only possible up to 4 degrees so the laser flashes if it's unhappy with the angle. The mount for the tripod almost seems to be the wrong way round but it has a magnetic base, although I thought I could lie this on it's side to get a straight line on the ceiling - not sure if it's actually possible to get the 90 degree cross hair in this position as it never looked right. Brightness-wise it's okay inside but any bright sunshine will make it hard to see. Two AA batteries (supplied) keep it powered so other that the rather thin instructions it seems okay - I think I need to do some more homework on how to make best use of it however! Comes with a nice soft case but at over £40 I'd be a bit disappointed since I wasn't able to figure out its workings - pulse mode seems to be there but a short press just seems to turn the laser off - a long press activates the green LED but the laser just remains on. Puzzled!

Good but pricey and not a wide angle
This is a good little laser level. You should be able to figure out how to use it yourself.... hopefully you can as the instructions are pretty useless. Luckily it's easy to understand-The box includes the laser level, some batteries, a case, the useless instructions, and a magnetic mount. There's no way to mount it to a ceiling and you will need a tripod in some other cases. So the uses are a little limited but it's good as a simple laser level-Unfortunately, it's around the £45 price mark which is too expensive in my opinion when you can get a known brand for a similar price

Good but pricey
We're going to start decorating our home in the near future so I had been on the look out for a laser level and this does the job perfectly. It's simple to operate and does the job I need it to do - project clear, straight and level lines onto a wall. It costs as much as the basic versions by some better known brands, but this one claims to be waterproof and dust-proof whereas a lot of cheaper laser levels aren't. I've not tested whether this meets the waterproof claim but it feels solid and looks well built.

Useful DIY style cross hair laser level
The laser level works well, does what it is says on the box, is well built, comes in a decent nylon caseSo why the but, the same laser level by the same supplier is available with more powerful dual lasers and is rechargeable for £2k at the momentSo I recommend the rechargeable more power unit by DOVOH!

Easy to use
This doesn’t really come with any instructions but is easy enough to use without them. Can be used on a tripod that she does not come with it. Cuts time as don’t need to go around marking the walls. The other half has been using it at work in the building trade and is more the happy with it
