I decided to grow out & embrace my white hair. I put a lighter blonde on in May, so it wouldn’t be so drastic growing out from dark blonde and let it go. It is now mid September and about 4” of white is showing. The color of the product matches the remaining lighter blonde on the ends, so if I want to lightly cover the white it blends nicely. People have commented that the powder goes all over. I guess if you are swirling it wildly on your head, probably yes. Gently dabbing it seems to keep it where you want, bend over & rub your fingers through your hair & done.For me, it was a good find.P.S. I guess my only criticism is, it is a bit difficult to get the brush back into the cover as the bristles want to go all over. Maybe a plastic sleeve to slide up & then cover would be my only recommendation for the designer.

Don't give up on this product like I did. A year ago,after checking out what was out there, I bought Rootflage on Amazon because it had the best reviews. By using it as directed I couldn't get it to camouflage my roots though and I tossed it in a drawer and forgot all about it until yesterday. I remembered an old makeup trick my Mom taught me to make eyeshadow powder stick- dampen the applicator, remove any excess water with a tissue and then use it to apply the powder. I used the little brush instead of the big fluffy one and...It worked! :-D Not only did it make my roots much less noticeable but it didn't rub off even on my white pillowcases when I left it on overnight. So, the good reviews were right all along. This is a great product.

This powder is great in theory but the execution is off- I am light/platinum blonde and the powder turned my scalp and hair bright banana yellow. Yellow is a platinum blonde's mortal enemy. I would, however, recommend this product to non-platinum blondes as the product has a strong staying power. I had to shower to get the yellow out despite trying a few other methods to remove the product (wiping with a wet cloth, brushing, etc.)

This hides roots super well!! The only thing, is that it does rub off so you risk getting pillows and hands dirty. I also wish it had a nice scent to it, as it doesn’t smell anything at all.
