Heat Haven was a hot little read that makes you ask for more.
Y’all have been privy to my grammar rants in the past, so when I was asked to beta read Heat Haven, it was a no brainer to me.YES.The premise behind Heat Haven is an interesting and different take on the normal sweet Omegaverse world. Unmated Omegas and Alphas can sign up to participate in heats—a safe way to manage their instincts without the fear of an Omega being forced to mate. Griffin and Emily meet when they get stuck in an elevator at the Heat Haven facility. The “stuck in the elevator” trope is a very specific trope that I don’t get to see often, and honestly, it’s one of my favorites.Griff and Emily have immediate chemistry and they start to bond before Emily’s heat even occurs. This made it feel less about the Alpha/Omega dynamic and more about the real relationship they begin to form. By the time her heat starts, you can tell Griff is in for the long haul. She had already picked a few other Alphas to join in, so I wasn’t surprised to meet Dion in the course of the bow chicka bow wow. Griff and Dion together were *chef’s kiss* of Alpha mates. So protective and adoring.Overall, Heat Haven was a hot little read that makes you ask for more.

Great for a novella
I loved the introduction to this world. Although I feel like instead of a novella this should have been a full novel. Where you get to meet all of the members and the pack is complete in the end. You only get to really get to know 2 of the characters. Then an introduction of the 3rd for the heat. Then it’s just a lot of sex. Then some signals in the epilogue of some potential. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed it. I did give the book 4 stars after all. It just didn’t feel complete. At all, even for a novella. It’s more of a prequel then a real story and taste of an HEA. Great novellas to me are short but complete. This just wasn’t it and I hope that this is not a precursor to what the rest of the stories will be like. Great writing is not an easy task but I would take a choppy story less well written story over an incomplete one, any day.

I need so much more!!!
Oh wow. Where do I even begin? Oh my goodness this book was so good! I mean omegaverse, YES! That talk, YES! That heat, YES! Ahhh, I loved it so much.Emily, which is also my name, and I 100% took advantage of that, is an omega. She’s looking for some alpha’s to have her heat with. What does she find? Exactly what’s she’s looking for. Plus MORE!Griffin is an alpha coming to Heat Haven to look for an omega to help with their heat and possibly more. What he doesn’t expect is to be trapped in an elevator with an omega so close to her heat. What could happen? The elevator scene was yum. Like just yum. The heat scenes, I live for. The epilogue and extended epilogue, just made my whole year. I was hoping and praying that this story would have more than just one. If you know what I mean. You all delivered!!! Sarah and Ashley you just gained a reader for life!!

SO GOOD!!
Oh how I LOVED this book. This was fantastic. Start to finish. Bravo.Heat Haven is essentially a safe space for Omegas to have their heats, and Alphas pay a membership fee so that Omegas can select them to help them through heats if they wish. Our FMC is new to Heat Haven, and finds herself stuck in an elevator with fellow new member and Alpha Griffin. Forced proximity mixed with alpha/omega pheromones = a grand time for all parties involved. They made quite a mess in that elevator, all I’m saying.Despite their feral attraction meet cute, Griffin and Emily actually forge a strong, mature, and adorable relationship. She puts him on her heat list and he makes it his priority to take care of all of her needs.I can’t wait to see where things go next in this series. Highly recommend!!

Starts out amazingly good, until it switches perspectives
Apparently two lost omegaverse souls share a meetcute in an elevator and HEA right out. This is a DNF for me. Honestly, I had high hopes based off the first chapter - the writing flowed well, the world building was great and honestly, the narrator's voice was so smooth I was instantly into the story. The premise is a tried and true for the omegaverse theme, and it was well developed. Then the book switched perspectives and all of that went away. This is truly an example of an author TELLING a lot, and showing you very little. In addition to that there is a terrifying amount of infantalization of the female partner, both from the way the male partner describes her to the actual thoughts in the female partners head, that is quite disturbing. I do believe the authors intended the female character to come off as innocent and wholesome, but she literally is written as a country bumpkin almost child bride like character with no nuance or complexity. Very Mary Sue. And it constantly emphasized how tiny she is. Tiny body, tiny hands, tiny feet. Smells like cherries - this observation literally made me gag. Could this be any more obvious of an allusion to her "innocence"?I gave two stars strictly for the initial set up, but everything else about this is a hard HARD pass.

Loved this book & characters
This was such a fun and funny read! Griffin was hilarious to me - his inner thoughts, what came out of his mouth just had me chuckling. But then there's the hot, dominant, dirty talking alpha side to him that just set me on fire! So yeah Emily was one very, very lucky omega. Their development and relationship was just so freaking sweet while also being hot and I loved it. And just as I'm thinking this can't get any better Dion comes into the picture and I just melted. Then the ending...which had me laughing breathlessly...Honestly this whole story just made me wish that I get stuck in an elevator with a hot yet sweet man/men. Just go pick it up and read it - you won't regret it.

Erotic omegaverse
So this is just an erotic hot as hell omegaverse novella and I loved it. So much spice, very little plot, just perfect for when you want something hot and steamy. Do not skip the bonus epilogue! It's excellent and absolutely has to be read.

Nice surprise
Surprisingly good for being a short story.I think it could have been made into a bigger book with the extra epilogue and delved deeper into that part.

This was such a good book! Emily starting her first heat cycle after being on suppressors, she signs up for heat haven. Going to look at her suite she’s chosen for her heat cycle she gets trapped in an elevator with Alpha male Griffen. Their story starts and its a great ride all through her heat. Really enjoyed this book :)

excellent
Sweet and steamy with just the right amount of bonding. Well paced. Was a real pleasure to read. I like both of the main guys, and their efforts to pay attention to the heroine’s needs, including after care and respecting limits. Nice set up with the haven. Looking forward to more like this.
